The service was great, Bill welcomed us in and got our vehicle in for the oil change quickly. Didn't take long for them to complete since there weren't many vehicles that early in the day. Given the situation with the pandemic, I will not be so harsh on my review. Jennifer was super awesome! The guy who showed me my car was very nice, but he was a car detailer so he was not so knowledgeable about my car. But again they were short handed due to the pandemic situation. The next day got a call from Mike, not the friendliest guy I’ve ever met. We negotiated and basically he was not willing to be flexible at all. I almost decided to not bother with this dealer at all. Just based off my conversation with Mike. And trying to communicate with him after my initial call, he was a total xxx, dodging my calls. He basically didn’t even want my business. That’s the vibe he puts off. Then John saved the sale, he is friendly, and professional and tried to make me happy. That’s all I ask. In the end, I’m very happy with my car!! And the car detailer guy, he was exceptional!! I wish I got his name, he really went above and beyond his job and he deserves major props!! I just wish the process wasn’t so ridiculous dealing with so many people. Overall good experience! More
Jeep Purchase I have to say I bought this car IN SPITE of my DeCozen experience. Jennifer was my sales person and while she was friendly she was not at all equipped I have to say I bought this car IN SPITE of my DeCozen experience. Jennifer was my sales person and while she was friendly she was not at all equipped to sell me my car. I came in having found the car online...I knew exactly what I wanted. She knew nothing about the car's equipt, how things worked, didn't take a second to prepare for our arranged meeting. When she provided the paperwork she told me the $1000 Delivery Fee was something "we charge everyone." When I told her no delivery fee should be required for a used car leased at her site she went back to her mgr (10 minutes) and then came back to advise it was the cost to continue the warranties. When I asked for a list of what that includes, she returned (10 minutes) and told me "bumper to bumper." When I asked for further clarification and perhaps a list of what was under warranty she came back (10 minutes) and told me there is no list!!! When I objected to making a $1000 decision without a list she came back (10 minutes) with a pamphlet with the exact list. Maddening! Then she came back with a deal sheet with the dollars wrong two more times! Never bothered to check what she was handing me. Then I was told the car only had one set of keys and that I had to pay $357 for a second set. When I questioned why that would be since surely you charged the lease owner returning only one set so this looks like a double dip, felt very deceitful. Then she tells me the key fob is in stock and then calls me the next day to say parts gave her the wrong info and it had to be ordered (sorry can only assume it was her mistake). When Karina in service called me to tell me the plates were in, and I told her I wanted to make one trip and have the key made when I picked them up she told me to call Service to schedule it. When I asked what dept she was in she told me ...Service!! Why would I call back when I'm talking to Service? Maddening! (and Jennifer called during the week to tell me the plates were in a day after I already had an appointment to pick them up...not a problem but illustrates lack of communication once again on Jennifer's part) Joe, who processed my paperwork on vehicle pick up (and cleared up the nonsense about Delivery Fee/no remaining warranty), and Bill in Service who helped me pick up plates & key, couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I have worked at car dealerships...this sales experience was a train wreck and the laziness with service was annoying. Ultimately, I felt that between the dishonesty about the "Delivery Charge," which I learned from Joe was just the clean up/detailing/car prep and not a warranty or destination fee, having to pay for a $357 second key, and my sales person's complete incompetence I was not at all satisfied with my experience. And the funny thing is, going in, I was quite pleased to see you had a 5 star rating...gave me a better feeling of who I was dealing with....then I got there. More
