I hope no one needs to return their lease at this dealership. I went to DeCozen today to return my Dodge Durango. I live 40 minutes away and called before I left to make sure I didn’t needan appointm dealership. I went to DeCozen today to return my Dodge Durango. When I got there, I was told by Maite I needed to see Anna to return my lease who doesn’t work Saturdays. I asked to speak to the manager and Joe came down. He told me thesame thing and Maite didn’t admit to speaking with me. Joe verified my file “ to make sure I called”. Then he said I was only on the phone for 23 seconds, so was I sure I spoke to someone. I explained that I live far away, had my wife follow me with a second car to drop the car off and that I wouldn’t make up speaking to someone. I offered to leave the car and paperwork at the dealer and come back during the week to finish paperwork. I was told I wasn’t allowed to do that because of insurance purposes. To make matters worse, I was called multiple times the past few weeks by Cheryl to get another vehicle in the past few weeks to get into a new vehicle. I told her I was going to return it and she never mentioned making an appointment either. I understand that everyone makes a mistake but no one admitted to it and had no courtesy. It’s sad because if I was buying a car, I would have 5 people helping but since I’m returning it, I was dismissed. I definitely won’t be coming here to purchase another vehicle or recommend it to any friends. More
DeCozen could not have been less helpful when we contacted them to schedule service on our Pacifica in response to a recall notice from Chrysler. Chrysler advised in its recall notice that one of contacted them to schedule service on our Pacifica in response to a recall notice from Chrysler. Chrysler advised in its recall notice that one of the modules in our Pacifica needed reprogramming, and it could be done in 30-minutes at any dealership. Despite that, DeCozen told us it would take six-weeks to schedule and then, after we waited six-weeks and arranged for time off of work, they told us the day before the appointment that we were not on the schedule. We told them that we had scheduled the appointment six weeks ago, and, even then, after consulting with the service manager, we were told they could not accommodate us as scheduled. They told us we could leave the car there for several days to see if they could get to it, which is not an option for us as this is our only car that can accommodate our entire family. By way of explanation, DeCozen indicated that they had been provided a limited number of parts for this recall. They said this despite Chrysler having told us that the recall involved only reprogramming, and did not necessitate any parts. DeCozen also told us that we should take the car to the dealership where we had purchased it. They told us this despite Chrysler having advised that the recall could be fixed at any dealership. We reached out to a different dealership in the area, and they indicated that it was a simple fix and could be done in a short time. They were able to put us on their schedule within 48 hours of the call. We are grateful for the knowledge that DeCozen is not a place where we should be shopping in the future. More
