Service Debacle Spent money on a diagnosis at Daytona Toyota for a Camry. Had the parts replaced as per the diagnostics undertaken by this dealership. Found out the b Spent money on a diagnosis at Daytona Toyota for a Camry. Had the parts replaced as per the diagnostics undertaken by this dealership. Found out the bill was estimated to be $900.00 plus tax. Turns out the parts were in perfect working order after replaced; which proves they werent tested in the diagnostic. The diagnostic recommended some further service. Spent more money and this diagnostic was incorrect also. Dealership now recommends further work but at this point I said no more. This service department may never have tested anything but only guessed knowing this car was a "CASH COW" waiting to be milked of 1000's of dollars. Stay away from this dealership. I asked to speak with a service manager before the last service but never was able to speak to one even though I was told there were 2 managers. More

Failed Promise Daytona Service Department failure of their promise to provide the care and expert service we have come to trust. They may decsions for the customer on repairs, cancelled Lifetie Oil Change Contracts without customer consent, and under estimates the needs of the consumers. I am a senior citzen who took my car for repairs and they decided to repair what they counld and not what was asked and was promised. File a complaint on the incomplete service and they decided to cancel my Paid in Full Lifetime Oil Change Contact and it was cancelled by the owner Gib Dannehower because he felt: "I don't beleive that we can fully satisfy your needs the same way we satisfy over a hundred other vehicle owners a day. I am proud of my staff for the tough job they have and for the outstanding results they achieve with our other patrons" so I believe that his staff had a tough job to do and do not care for any complaints or worry about delivering what was promised. And lastly Daytona Toyota unestimates the resilience of the senior citizen community. The Daytona Toyota Dealership wants to pick and choice its valued customers to maintain their "outstanding" results in thier Service Department. I would not recommend this dealership due to their lack of intergy. They did not deliver what was promised and cancelled a paid off contract of Lifetime Oil Changes because of three legitamate complaints on the service department over a seven year period. Who needs a dealership that does not deliver what they promise and cancels whatever they feel fit to cancel at anytime? More

I was traveling from Southern Georgia to Orlando MCO airport when my 2013 Prius C broke down due to the engine overheating on i95 around 6:30 pm. I was frantic about being stranded in an unknown area. Daytona Toyota popped up on google maps as the nearest dealership. After having the car towed and dropped off in the night drop, I was called immediately after the dealership opened the next morning! I was able to catch my flight the next day and was kept informed about the service on my car. I felt so relieved knowing the problem was being addressed and taken care of in a timely manner. The next day, my service manager Karen made sure my car was first in line to be serviced above all else because she knew I was stranded and had to get home ASAP. She was straightforward and truthful with me the entire time! Even though I live 200 miles away, I would definitely recommend this dealership and service department with 5+ stars!!! More
Excellent service provided by Howard Vann - superb employee Howard Vann in the Service Department guided me through a stressful period when my car developed a problem while on a trip to Jacksonville. My car developed a severe vibration problem with the Check Engine and Vehicle Stability Control lights coming on while I was on I-95. I drove to the nearest exit and called Howard to seek his advice. He has been my service writer for over ten years and I have always found him courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Howard did not disappoint me. He returned my call in several minutes and spent about ten minutes guiding me through a diagnosis of the possible problem. He isolated the problem and recommended going to a tire service store, since I likely had a tire with a broken radial belt. We also discussed going to the nearest Toyota Dealer, which I decided against since the car was performing so poorly that I did not want to take it back to I-95. He diagnosis was absolutely correct. I had two tires with broken radial belts. I could not be happier with the superb service department at Daytona Toyota. They continually provide service that EXCEEDS my expectations. Poor time management I had an 8:00 am appointment for my first six months checkup. I was advised that it would take up to 45 min to perform the service. After the 90 minutes mark, I finally went to the supervisor inquiring about my car. He informed me that that they were backed up and it should be ready soon. If the service dept opened at 7 am and I arrived at 8 am, how in the world could they be backed up. I was advised the service center had an excellent reputation of providing great service. With this visit, they failed and failed miserably. The waiting room looked like the CA DMV waiting room. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of service. I wrote the review here because I never received a survey form regarding this visit. More
