Daytona Toyota - Service Center

Karen was wonderful. My lack of maximum points is due to the other service techs I spoke with and worked with this year besides Karen…Craig and another female I cannot remember. When I called to schedule with Craig earlier this month originally I had expressed to him my concern about budget to support the things wrong with my 2018 vehicle …he looked my information up, gave me pricing and schedule me without informing me that my extended warranty covered the battery I was concerned about an whatever else could have been the issue. He was I lunch concerned about upselling me a lifetime battery and lifetime oil changes. When I brought my vehicle in earlier this year to take care of a recall issue I assumed was related to my check engine light being on in similar fashion to what I had experienced previously and in getting that issue addressed lead me to no longer attend the dealer from which I purchased the vehicle due to that negative experience. The young lady that helped me made a point to say…we’ll your vehicle is about to be out of warranty so we’re going to address this issue now because it won’t be able to be addressed after the warranty expires without payment. Later one of the lead mechanics informed me that information was incorrect; as this was an ongoing issue from prior to any warranty expiring. When I expressed that I had the extended warranty - she indicated she did not see this on my file. This is a rhetorical question…but why would she say these things so adamantly - both being dramatically incorrect - and further lead me to believe that there would’ve been nothing that Toyota could do to help me after the warranty expired. Based upon these two incidents I was ready to give up the car that supposedly would last me a lifetime. Only my recent experience with Karen changed my mind. She informed me that I definitely had the extended warranty and ran a list of the things I was entitled to and the frequencies. More
