My appointment for an oil change and tire rotation was 1 o’clock. I was there for almost 3 hours watching people who had been there 2 to 3 to 4 hours longer for the same thing we’re waiting. Some folks even got loaners because the dealership was so far behind.. I brought it to the dealer because I’ve had pretty good luck at the Rochester dealer where I bought the car couple years ago. I didn’t wanna go to some small place who worked on but many different types of cars.. after one hour I went to talk to my Service person asked them if they hadn’t started working on the car. I’d like the car back. I wasn’t gonna wait any longer. She went to go get the keys came back without the keys and all of a sudden they’re working on the car, which was a bunch of baloney. after another 45 minutes, I went back in. She saw me standing there but then she was also waiting on somebody she came over told me they were pretty much done. Show me what they had done showed me what they recommended and I told them no to everything another 15 to 20 minutes went by and I got the car as I was a good 15 to 20 minutes from the dealer after leaving, I realize they never reset my maintenance record on the dashboard. I wasn’t about to go back. That’s not to say she wasn’t nice about it although I know she was lying about working on the car, but I just could not believe how backed up the service area was. I can’t believe that anybody just drives in with an emergency and can get their car serviced. i’m assuming the staffing is a big problem as it is everywhere but you cannot. You cannot expect people to wait five hours or longer for an oil change and a tire rotation and I’m not convinced that they rotated my tires and it wasn’t until I got back to my condo that I really check to see if there was clean oil in it because I wasn’t sure that they even did that. I’m pretty fastidious about the maintenance of the car. I learned that from my husband and I won’t be coming back there. More
Aaron the service mgr was very accommodating and courteous. The mechanic Conner was also very competent and helpful to explain why the repair was needed and explained the process of the TSB for the courteous. The service area is very clean and orderly. I was met by the service rep quickly and checked in promptly. He told me the service time would be "about an hour". I got my cat in 1:07 minutes.
