I just purchased a 2007 Jeep from Daytona Toyota. I live in West Central Florida and found the Jeep that was absolutely perfect. The purchase of the Jeep was extremely painless and the Jeep was delivered to my door in record time. Needless to say, I was very impressed with Daytona Toyota and their staff. I have never had such as wonderful, stress free experience when buying a vehicle from a dealer. The next vehicle I need, I will be calling Daytona Toyota and asking for Dustin. In my book, the experience we had was by far, top of the line! I will be spreading the word about buying from a dealer that really takes care of the customer and wants to do what is right. Thank you Dustin and Daytona Toyota for taking such great care of a customer that will be a repeat customer in the future. I had a good experience. The only thing I would want differently is that Germain knew and understood from the very moment we met and started looking at vehicles what my goal was. I started out with the vehicle I wanted but was told it would be over 14K in addition to my trade in. He was told to tell me that was the bottom line, so we looked at a second car. I was not satisfied with it and the deal offered. When I became upset and threatened to leave and had my blood pressure boiling, Sean came in to do further negotiations. I explained that the first car was the one I wanted and was told they would not budge on the price. Eventually, Sean came back with and we did negotiate a price that I was able to afford...on the vehicle I originally wanted!! BUT, it took hours and me becoming upset to get what I wanted. Germain knew from the very moment I walked in what my goal was. There was no reason that this negotiating could not have been done prior to my anger and 3 hours earlier. I love my new /used 4Runner and was happy in the end. However, I would have been even happier if management would have listened to me and what I had told Germain from the very start. It was a typical "sales" tactic which is exactly what I did not want to go through. I understand that the dealership needs to make money but their "hard-ball" attitude initially almost lost them the deal. Hopefully the next time I go there to buy they will remember! I loved Germain. He was encouraging and helpful but not pushy. I drove there from Lake Mary near Orlando and am glad I did and would recommend this dealership highly over David Maus. You just have to have a very strong personality and stand your ground. If you can do that, you will be able to ultimately walk away with a smile on your face and happy for your new ride!! We would have kept the Camry(only 21,000 miles) except we wanted a little more storage room. We wanted another Toyota, because, in three years of driving, we never had to bring it back for any minor repairs of anything. Even with the recall we were still impressed with Toyotas's track record. So we went back to see Sam about a RAV4. We again met up with Andrew Tabaku. We were not in any hurry so after two months I stopped back to see Andrew and changed one of our requirements. A while later Andrew called an made us an offer we couldn't turn down. They located the vehicle we wanted and today, 2/27/10, we went down to finalize the deal. Sam had referred us to Junior Most, who handled all the paperwork. Junior treated us like we were visiting royalty from Dubai. We got there at 9:30 and a couple of hours later were were driving home in our new RAV4. I had been a salesman my entire life and provided outstanding service to all my clients. Therefore, I will not settle for shabby customer service when I am buying. Daytona Toyota provides the kind of customer service that I demand. Because of this it is easy to refer them to others. As a side note. This has been an experience similar to my previous but different at the same time. I have been a client for the 7 years that I have been in the State of Florida and always a satisfied one. This time it became much more than a sales person and buyer relationship, it was a friend/family member relationship; Don York has been guarding my interest and calling me when he had a vehicle that he thought was right for me; which was great because it turned to be just what I wanted. But this was extended to time of entertainment when they shared with me tickets to Daytona Races and my wife and I. We spent time with the Toyota Team and we had a fantastic time. We have felt extremely confident that information that both Don and David Kinch, the sales Manager and Salesperson shared with us was useful and helpful and accurate. The vehicle/s that my family has purchased from Daytona Toyota have always been the right vehicle and well serviced, reliably, acurately and without any haggling with prices or pushy salesperson or annoying calls. My experience with the sales team at Daytona Toyota was superior. It was the best new car experience I've ever had. Let me explain. I live in Michigan and have a winter home in central Florida. I drove my superior. It was the best new car experience I've ever had. Let me explain. I live in Michigan and have a winter home in central Florida. I drove my 1998 Ford Ranger down from Michigan to donate it to my newly married daughter and son-in-law in order to help them financially. My intent was to purchase a used sedan as a replacement to drive back to Michigan. Well, I've always wanted a Toyota pickup truck and decided to see what the Orlando Toyota dealership had in stock. Within minutes I found the perfect Tacoma truck for me. It was a double cab, Barcelona Red, TRD Pre-Runner. It was a beauty. I asked the salesman to hold the Tacoma for me so I could do some research and that I would be back to purchase it. Well, by the time I got back the Tacoma had been sold! They checked their stock and did not have another one like it available. Thanks to the internet I was able to find the exact same Tacoma only 81 short miles away in Daytona Beach! I cold-called the dealer and spoke to Monica directly. I told her what I wanted, how much the other dealer was going to sell me the car for and that if she agreed that I would drive up and purchase the Tacoma from her. It only took a few minutes of working with her and her sales manager, Bajes Jalil, to strike a deal. I told them to hold the vehicle and I'd arrange to pick it up in a day or two. My wife and I drove up on Monday to pick up the pick-up truck! What a wonderful experience. Unfortunately Monica was in training and I couldn't meet her. However I plan a return trip to Daytona just to thank her for the wonderful service. In her absence Bajes and Larry Ollinger took very good care of me. I was really interested in upgrading to the 4X4 V8 Tundra! What a beautiful truck! However, I really didn't have the need for a larger truck and decided to stay with the Tacoma. It's plenty powerful and roomy for my purposes. Larry was excellent explaining the benefits and features of each vehicle while Bajes was great in working with me on price and options. The finance manager was great as well (don't recall his name). Really knew his stuff and was very pleasant! All in all it was a great experience. I was well taken care of with knowledgeable and caring people. They made us feel like we were family. I guess in a way we are now that we own a Toyota! I'm proud of my new Tacoma truck and feel good about the buying experience. My next purchase (a sedan) will be at Daytona Toyota regardless of where I live! Did I tell you I'm a NASCAR fan and it was special being in Daytona Beach during race week and purchasing a new Toyota! Bajes said he'd sell me the Toyota even though I was a Jeff Gordon fan!
