I worked with Craig for 2 months asking lots of questions before choosing and going to his dealership to do business. I received excellent service from Jermaine Lewis, and JB Bland, in purchasing a 2012 Prius in May. I price shopped beginning on the internet and went through car buying HELL with sales people lying about this and that – the story always changed when I showed up in person. All through my horrible e through car buying HELL with sales people lying about this and that – the story always changed when I showed up in person. All through my horrible experiences I kept talking with Monica on the phone and telling her that If she were only closer…… Monica’s internet price was great AND the dealership offers the LIFETIME warranty AND LIFETIME oil changes, but they are in Daytona – right at 120 miles from my home! Finally I negotiated what I thought was an acceptable deal with my local dealer in Gainesville. They misrepresented the car’s options and the man that runs the dealership was so ugly to me on the phone that I called Monica and ended up crying! She listened to me like a friend and was a huge comfort even when she thought she wasn’t getting the sale. I must have talked to her a couple of times a day as I messed around with the local dealers around here. I negotiated a $weet deal with the Ocala dealership, but the salesman made a “mistake” (oopsie) in quoting me the price… When I showed up in Ocala, the price was more than I was quoted. I remembered that Monica had told me that the price Ocala gave me was a good price, but to give her a call back if anything changed. She did not talk bad about any of the other dealers like they did about Daytona Toyota. The salespeople at both dealerships in Gainesville AND Ocala told me that Daytona’s Lifetime warranty was only good in Daytona. (NOT TRUE! It is good ANYWHERE in the US - you just have to have all your receipts. Yes, the free Oil Changes for life are only good in Daytona but since the oil changes are synthetic I think I can make it over to the beach every 10,000 or however many miles after my FREE 2 years of maintenance that comes with every new Toyota is over.) After the price change in Ocala, I called Monica and told her what happened. She listened and I decided that I’d drive all the way to Daytona to deal with her! I guess I should have just gone to Daytona first and saved myself a LOT of STRESS and tears! Monica is the reason I decided to deal with Daytona Toyota though – not the excellent warranties. Monica was the friend I needed as a single woman making a car buying decision alone! I prayed about this and truly believe she was an answer to my prayers! She was knowledgeable about all the options and never tried to trick me like BOTH Gainesville AND Ocala did! When I arrived at Daytona Toyota, I was not disappointed! My new Camry was EXACTLY as we had discussed on the phone with all the options clearly in writing and sent to me by email beforehand - I even had the VIN number beforehand! It was full of gas with freshly tinted windows and shining like a star! I LOVE my new YODA! My advice to you is to make the drive to DAYTONA Toyota if you have the time and deal with MONICA – oh yeah – tell them I sent you and they’ll give me $200 for referring you! More
