Staff is friendly but issues I had were not resolved. I was asked to come back because two problems weren’t communicated. I have weather stripping that was lifting on part of the sunroof that was pointed was asked to come back because two problems weren’t communicated. I have weather stripping that was lifting on part of the sunroof that was pointed out to the salesman at time of purchase and he said some from service would call. No one called until the other day and I told the person who called to schedule the service about that, the rear passenger window not going down and that I still hadn’t received my floor mats (weather tech ones) that were ordered when I bought the car and she said she made note of those in the service order. When I was checked in I showed the service person the weather stripping and some paint chips the salesman said were going to be taken care of but I can’t remember if I mentioned the window to her. I was shifted to Tanya after that and she told me to go to the used car manager about the floor mats. I went over and a nice gentleman told me that the sales manager wasn’t in today and since it was a new car I probably need to go over to new car sales. I told Tanya what he said and she said that they told her I needed to go to my sales man but that I could go over there. I knew the gentleman that ordered the mats for me was in the new car asked building so I went over, saw the man who ordered them for me (I think his name is Mark) and he said my salesman would have them and that I needed to contact him. I found my sales nan’s number and texted him and he texted back stating he would call me back in a little while. I found out later he is now in the collision center an I am not sure what he can do but was told he would have my floor mats. My car was done but when I asked about the weather stripping and rear passenger window Tanya knew nothing about them. She said that I would need to go through the sales person for those. I asked if those things wouldn’t be covered under warranty and she confirmed they would be so I am unsure what the salesman can do about those. All that was done was tire rotation, windshield wiper check and inspection. She said I would need to come back but I work in Orlando and it is hard to schedule during the week. She said to call her on Thursday, she will try to get me in and do the best she can to help me. So, I was leaving the dealership after we found my car (2 Smiths caused a little confusion) very unhappy. The used car salesman saw me and inquired what the problem was and offered his help but I told him that I didn’t see what he could do seeing as I had spoken to everyone I was told to in order to fix things. I thanked him for his kindness but told him I didn’t want to waste his time. As, I drive away I felt like the weight of these things that need to be delivered was totally on me and I began to miss my Kexus dealership. Their service department and customer service was excellent. My new car is ok for the most part and I love the Apple car play but I am not certain I will ever buy a Toyota again and I’m not sure how long I will keep this one if this is the service I can expect to receive. Once I got home I figured I would try my salesman on Monday because if he works in the collision center now he probably was off. So I texted on Monday and received no communication back. So I guess I am stuck with empty promises, no floor mats, weatherstripping peeling up on the sun roof and a rear passenger window that won’t go down. Oh, what a feeling.... Toyota More
