On top of that, our present financial situation compounded the situation further making it even more challenging & stressful. Our precious funds were decreasing as each critical day continued to pass. James Daly's team and our wonderful salesman Antonio Dasilva made it all possible despite our considerable challenges & my ever increasing distress. Antonio worked diligently with us to help us get into a terrifc certified used 2011 Toyota Camry SE at a great price (below Kelly Blue Book CPO value I might add) and made sure the process went as smoothly as possible & we drove away happy, satisifed customer's. Daytona Toyota offers great incentives & has a fantastic team of employees to make it happen. For us and our situation, with no exaggeration, it was nothing short of a miracle. The only negative comment I can even make is that this dealer sells cars so quickly, you better jump on the one you want before it get sold. They sold three of the six vehicles we wanted to test drive while we we're test driving the other vehicles! More
I purchased a used F150 from Craig Latz. After much texting, I drove two hours to Daytona to make the purchase. It took a few hours while I was there and felt uncomfortable because none of the employee texting, I drove two hours to Daytona to make the purchase. It took a few hours while I was there and felt uncomfortable because none of the employees were nice. I've bought 10+ cars in my life, good and bad, but never felt like I was screwed. A month after purchase, the truck was popping so I took it to my local Ford dealership - there was FRAME DAMAGE AND WAS NEVER EVEN TOLD IT WAS IN A WRECK! Ford told me the truck should've been totaled out. There was a hole being drilled into my gas tank over time. They told me they'd have a car waiting for me once I got there and they would work on the truck. I agreed to go and the guy that was emailing me...nobody knew who he was! So I waiting two hours for the GM Dan O'Brien to get there and he was no help at all and was very rude. He basically told me I shouldn't have waited for him. TOYOTA DAYTONA IS A JOKE - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH DISHONEST UNFRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO DONT STAND BEHIND THE VEHICLES THEY SELL. I understand the truck was bad, but they don't even want to help me out one bit. More
Craig is completely remarkable. It was a relaxing sales transition and as the buyer , I was able to have all my questions answered about the new technology of a new vehicle and its amenities. transition and as the buyer , I was able to have all my questions answered about the new technology of a new vehicle and its amenities. Daytona Toyota had a used car of interest advertised online. This dealer is 200+ miles from my home, so phone communications were key. My inquiries were addresed and answered promptly and professional online. This dealer is 200+ miles from my home, so phone communications were key. My inquiries were addresed and answered promptly and professionally, enough so that I made the trip to inspect the vehicle. Upon arrival, the car was exactly as advertised. A horrible previous internet car purchase (not at Daytona Toyota) had left me very skeptical and I can honestly say that this experience was a night and day difference. Craig Lattz is a breath of fresh air in this business. He is knowledgeable, personable, and professional. The only "glitch" in the entire process was self-inflicted, I had some anxious moments due in part to my previous nightmare encounter. James Daly and Craig worked me through my concerns very effectively. I have no reservations in giving a full recommendation to Craig and Daytona Toyota. Well done! More
I purchased a vehicle from in 2011 from Monica Lewis. Everything was great. Went back a year later and traded my car for a new one. Once again from Monica Lewis. I went in for service and went to say hello to Monica and found out that she was no longer there and that is when everything went down hill. We get a call ever week to two weeks asking to trade in. They can lower my car payment and put me in a brand new one. Every time they call it is someone new. Two weeks ago I was online looking and had a black book value done on my car just to see what it was. Since then I get two to three phone calls a day (it is someone different every time ). I told them that I was just looking at the value of my car and they have not stopped. I even sent an email to the sale gentlemen to tell him this. I have asked them if they communicate with each other and the sales manager over the internet told me that he was putting in my file not to contact me. As of noon today I am still receiving calls and by different people. If you want to get hounded and never left alone I would recommend this dealer. I will never go back to this dealer and I am looking to upgrade. I will go to Deland or Orlando which is way out of my way. More
This is a terrific dealership. I received several emails for verification of the car and appointment. Everyone was friendly and courteous and professional. Craig had everything ready when we arrived. He answered all my questions clearly and saw that the process moved smoothly. Craig and the people that worked with him made a very stressful situation for me, much easier. I saw a very-low-mileage Nissan Altima on their web page, called, and made an appointment with Craig the next day. We went to Daytona Toyota to look at a 2013 Prius models. I called ahead and set up an appointment with Paul Battipaglia. When we arrived Paul was ready for us to do our test drives. First he showed us the P I called ahead and set up an appointment with Paul Battipaglia. When we arrived Paul was ready for us to do our test drives. First he showed us the Prius V he demonstrated all the features of the car very well so we took it for a test drive (this is the largest of the Prius models). Next he showed and demonstrated the features off the Prius which is the middle size which we took for a test drive. This all of course is taking quite a bit of time because we are asking a lot of questions and our test drives were not short. We then wanted to see the Prius C which is the smallest of the Prius models. At this point I figured he would be getting a little tired of demonstrating cars but he was a complete gentleman and did not try to rush us at all. He wanted to make sure we understood about each model and what the features are for each model. I researched the prices of all the models and the value of my trade before we went there. I usually can't make a deal with the dealership on the first day; I usually have to visit two or three dealerships to get the kind of deal that I want. I then had to start the price negotiations which is not the most pleasant part about buying a new vehicle but it is a necessary evil. I felt the most comfortable in the Prius V but of course this model was the highest priced and above our budget. I figured I would give it a shot and see what they could do for me and it took about an hour negotiating with Joe Donahue one of the sales managers and they finally got it down to what we could afford which we felt was a very good price. At no time did I feel anyone was trying to take advantage or put something over on me. All in all the experience would Daytona Toyota was a pleasant one, everyone there was very pleasant. When we went to financing there were no hidden fees or extra charges everything went as promised by Joe the sales manager. All in all I could not ask for a better experience in buying a car. I will go back to Daytona Toyota when I buy my next car because I feel that they treated me with respect and had an excellent final price. More
