We went to Daytona Toyota to look at a 2013 Prius models. I called ahead and set up an appointment with Paul Battipaglia. When we arrived Paul was ready for us to do our test drives. First he showed us the Prius V he demonstrated all the features of the car very well so we took it for a test drive (this is the largest of the Prius models). Next he showed and demonstrated the features off the Prius which is the middle size which we took for a test drive. This all of course is taking quite a bit of time because we are asking a lot of questions and our test drives were not short. We then wanted to see the Prius C which is the smallest of the Prius models. At this point I figured he would be getting a little tired of demonstrating cars but he was a complete gentleman and did not try to rush us at all. He wanted to make sure we understood about each model and what the features are for each model. I researched the prices of all the models and the value of my trade before we went there. I usually can't make a deal with the dealership on the first day; I usually have to visit two or three dealerships to get the kind of deal that I want. I then had to start the price negotiations which is not the most pleasant part about buying a new vehicle but it is a necessary evil. I felt the most comfortable in the Prius V but of course this model was the highest priced and above our budget. I figured I would give it a shot and see what they could do for me and it took about an hour negotiating with Joe Donahue one of the sales managers and they finally got it down to what we could afford which we felt was a very good price. At no time did I feel anyone was trying to take advantage or put something over on me. All in all the experience would Daytona Toyota was a pleasant one, everyone there was very pleasant. When we went to financing there were no hidden fees or extra charges everything went as promised by Joe the sales manager. All in all I could not ask for a better experience in buying a car. I will go back to Daytona Toyota when I buy my next car because I feel that they treated me with respect and had an excellent final price. More

SHADY car dealer. This place was a joke. When we couldn't come to a common ground the basically said that no payment for 90 days so I could have money to move. Low and behold I get a letter saying t couldn't come to a common ground the basically said that no payment for 90 days so I could have money to move. Low and behold I get a letter saying that my payment is due next month. After trying to contact the dealer for 30 days a guy finally called me back and said that they cannot find the paper that it was written on and that there is nothing they can do. They also said that they would take care of tint for me also. I drove an hour from Orlando only to find out I had no appointment and they can't do anything until I come another day. A week and a half later finally able to make an appointment. These guys only care about hitting numbers and making a bonus. I will never buy there again and I will tell everyone to stay away. Dirty car salesmen! More
We drove down from Jacksonville after finding a Toyota Corolla S on the internet. It was exactly what my daughter wanted. Craig was a breath of fresh air after the hellish dealerships we had dealt with Corolla S on the internet. It was exactly what my daughter wanted. He did everything he said he would do and when we arrived to purchase my daughter's 2011 Toyota Corolla S everything went smooth as silk. Everyone was very friendly from the moment we walked in and the entire process was very professional. We will be back to purchase future Toyota vehicles and will definitely tell our friends about Daytona Toyota. I'm not sure why other dealerships don't get that...be professional, courteous, do what you say you are going to do and people will return and they will send their family and friends. It's a win win situation for everybody! Very satisfied customer!! More
Craig was very laid back and let us look at the car without feeling like he was breathing down our backs. We checked prices online before we came in, so we knew it was a great deal to begin with. The car was what we were looking for, and we happily made the purchase without any negative feelings of pressure. I rated this dealership the way I did because they are one of the few I've worked with in the past few years that was actually efficient at negotiating and communicating via e-mail and over the phone. Given that we are located in Orlando, we did not want to make the drive to Daytona if we couldn't get the price we wanted. Ash was very efficient, professional and most importantly, he met his deliverables. A lot of times a salesman will make a promise (big or small), because he knows that's what the customer wants to hear. Ash made those promises and not only met them, but exceeded them. One example of Ash going above and beyond was AFTER THE DEAL WAS DONE, when most salesmen would only be concerned about their next sale, Ash drove his own personal vehicle down to the Sunoco dealership where we were told to fill up using the voucher, just to make sure the voucher worked and we had everything we needed. You don't get that kind of service frequently these days - in fact, I would consider it supremely rare. Additionally, while it took a little bit of time for the Finance department to get our paperwork ready, the moment we walked through the door of Serge Nash's office, we knew we were in good hands. Serge is a true professional and is not only good at what he does, but he clearly loves it. I also feel as though, even if the cameras weren't present in his office, he would have done everything the exact same way. He took the time to explain the reasoning behind the interest rate, payment, etc. He gave us recommendations on how to improve scores and get the most benefit out of the transaction. He, like Ash, went above and beyond the call of duty and that is greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience with Daytona Toyota; specifically Ash and his manager Garth, and Serge, was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend Ash and this dealership to my friends and family, and perhaps I will use them again in the future. Please bear in mind, I used to sell Toyotas myself and I have been a Toyota customer for 11 years - owning six total vehicles, three of which were purchased new. From the beginning Craig was great. I wanted the carfax. He ordered it for me and email with minutes. When I got there the quality of customer service I receive was great. No pressure for me to buy.
