Got us to drive 70 miles to be abused. Contacted this dealership for an internet price on a vehicle. Chris Dunn called me back and told me a little about their inventory, sounded like a nic Contacted this dealership for an internet price on a vehicle. Chris Dunn called me back and told me a little about their inventory, sounded like a nice person so I told him what I was looking for, what I wanted to spend and my time frame to buy. I contacted Chris the next day by email, and made it clear that I was going to spend 25K cash all in, no financing, what I had for a trade, what I owed on it what the negative equity was in it, I was totally upfront. He replied "The price parameter that you set for us seems possible, we do have a few pre-owned and a lot of new ones in our inventory." He later sent me a text with a picture of a Prius V with the window sticker, I sent back, nice car, but 25K is all I will spend. He sent back, "Ok, We should be fine I will see you around 5" My wife and I drive 70 miles to the dealership to find the car dirty, the price $6000 more then I said upfront what I would spend, first manager said they could not earn my business because I did not figure in my payoff, (my fault) the second said we could not make a deal because I wanted the most expensive car on the lot. (again my fault). I had to ask for my keys back 3 times. Then as I was leaving I showed the second manager the text I received and explained that I did not pick the most expensive car, his sales person did, and made it seem we could make a deal at the numbers I gave him. To his credit, Gib (the second manager) called to apologize, he had the impression I was mistreating the sales staff, and was not fully informed about his salesman's manipulation of my wife and myself. Guess it was my fault in the end, I thought I would be treated fairly, guess I should have known better. More

"BEST" car buying experience Ever!!! I purchased a 2011 Toyota Camry from Daytona Toyota yesterday. It was by far, the easiest, most seamless automobile buying experience I have ever had I purchased a 2011 Toyota Camry from Daytona Toyota yesterday. It was by far, the easiest, most seamless automobile buying experience I have ever had in my entire life! I am a 58 yr old woman and always dread car shopping as I feel like when walking on a car lot that salespeople see single females as being a "target" to scam. I was so relieved when dealing with Daytona Toyota to find that I was treated with the utmost respect and never once felt anything other than true professionalism from everyone I dealt with. I started the transaction utilizing the Internet Sales department where I met Craig Lattz. Craig was ALWAYS quick, efficient, forthright and honest in answering all of my questions and offering information about the car I inquired about. This included information about warranty, money or just anything I threw at him. I received an email from the Sales Manager offering his assistance although none was needed. Usually, you have to beg folks to get through red tape to even get to a Manager so I found this to be an outstanding advantage to my experience and a ++for this dealership! Long story short, the entire deal was negotiated over the internet and when I showed up to meet with Craig, he had the paperwork ready for me to sign and the transaction time was cut in half at least. I could not ask for more than that, AND they gave me a $25 Visa Reward bonus just for doing business with them! Do not even need to ask, if I ever need another car, YES, I would go straight back to Daytona Toyota. Craig and James are the best! More
