It was a great First Service experience Having no idea where the Service car drop-off area was located, I pulled into a parking lot near the building. I went inside, for directions, and was Having no idea where the Service car drop-off area was located, I pulled into a parking lot near the building. I went inside, for directions, and was immediately greeted by the receptionist with a warm smile, welcoming me. inside the Drop location, I was warmly greeted by one of the Service Advisors. He said my Advisor's name is Mike and that he was finishing up with a customer and I would be next. Mike is the type of man you just want to take home with you. He is genuinely sweet and made me feel at home. I had to bring me 16 lb. dog with me and everyone in the dept. made a fuss over him. (One Advisor showed me a pic of his dog which looked exactly like mine. ) Mike showed me around, pointing out where the water cooler, coffee machine and two snack baskets were located for the customers. The waiting area was comfortable, a bit tight but they were very busy at this time too. I took my dog on a good walk in the neighborhood behind the Service building and by the time I returned, my car was ready. They were washing and vacuuming my car. (A service thank you for your business, always offered to their Service customers. BTW, they also offer pick-up and/or drop-off service to and from your home, at no charge.) Mike went over my bill with me explaining everything that was done. (They filled my window wash tank up at no charge, it was empty.) Mike advised me when my next oil change would be due. He also told me to expect a review of service being emailed to me. Mike then walked me to my car, opened the door, put the air conditioner on. He then drove the car forward a few feet, saving me from having to stand in a puddle of water to get into my car. (Chivalry is not dead at KIA!) For me I will say, "it was a very good 'first Service' experience. Joanne More
