"My day at Daytona Kia by Karen Cullen" As always I was greeted with a smile. I signed in for an oil change and about a half hour later, Mike advised me I needed more extensive work on my ca As always I was greeted with a smile. I signed in for an oil change and about a half hour later, Mike advised me I needed more extensive work on my car. I authorized the work. I approached Mike a bit later and told him that the brakes had felt spongy and the car seemed sluggish. I let him know I do not allow service I feel is just a hard sell. I said nothing at the beginning because I wanted to test the mechanics and do they really check all systems. My test was passed. I never go for service and imply that something seems problematic because that opens the door for all kinds of unneeded work. I was pleased with the heads up and had everything done. My car was back to its vim and vigor and the brakes felt much better. Happy camper !!! More
