The service itself was very good and I continue to be very happy with my car (used, purchased here). I had to explain several times who I was and why I was calling ("No, I'm not calling about an oil change. I'm calling about the Safety Recall I was notified about."). Even after I had made an appointment for a Safety Recall. Each time I talked to somebody new, I had to describe again why I called. It seemed to me the person I was speaking to should have had access to that info on the screen right in front of me. The impression I got, as a customer, was that they didn't care enough about me as a customer. I missed my scheduled appt. in the morning but called as soon as I could. I was told to come in and they would fit me in. I was treated like a naughty child. The person I spoke to, once I arrived, indicated I might be there for hours until they could fit me in. I asked if there was a loaner car available and she said "no". Fortunately for me, the service was finished within about an hour. I guess the message I'm sending is that the actual mechanical service was very good but the Customer Service was not. I'm a grown-up. I can take it. But, I prefer being treated nicely. P.S. One of the questions I was asked on the first follow-up was "Were you offered a Loaner?" to which I replied "No". I took that question to mean that it should have been. More

Mikel found the exact car that I wanted and had it for me at the prearranged date and time. In fact, without Mikel's fine help, I would not have purchased a vehicle at Daytona Kia!! Since the purchase, Mikel has answered all questions that my wife and I have had. Couldn't ask for more when buying a new car - and he got me a nice trade in amount for my truck - no need to even discuss. I am pleased big time!!! More
