Car buying problem. We took the car back the day following purchase to have leather installed. We were leaving for vacation & were going to pick the car up on our return We took the car back the day following purchase to have leather installed. We were leaving for vacation & were going to pick the car up on our return. We called our sales person on Saturday to say we would pick up Sunday. She said she'd be off on Sunday but would leave the keys with the sales manager. When we arrived on Sunday the sales manager didn't have the keys & no one could figure out where they were or who had them & they couldn't reach the salesperson by phone. Also, the car was dirty with bird droppings on it & tons of pollen. We complained about the condition of the car. So we had to leave & wait for them to locate the keys, have the car cleaned & then drive back to the dealership to retrieve the car. The sales manager did have the tank filled & said we could come back for another tank of gas as compensation. But we found the car on line, negotiated the price over the phone & then came & signed the papers so it was an easy sale for her. More
