Minimum time spent on paperwork, vehicle ready for test drive. she set up all the "bells and whistles" for me that saved me hours of reading the manuals. this is the 3rd Hyundai from this dealership which attests to their professionalism and integrity. Regina was so personable it was my great fortune to have her as my facilitator. An example of her dedication in satisfying me as a customer, is that she came in on her day off to work with us and purchasing this new vehicle. Also, Charlie McHale greeted me as a personal friend not just a customer. He also wished me a Happy Birthday, which I recently celebrated. He researched who was coming in which was a plus in making us feel welcome. My finance manager, Alex Muniz also deserves a kudo for his no nonsense preparation of our paperwork. Regina treated my wife and I as if we were family. Regina and I spoke over the phone and when I arrived at the dealership she has all the paperwork and the cars ready for me. I was in and out of the dealer in less than a hour. In the finance office I worked with Alex who not only was very professional and knowledgeable, but was always on point even found a better loan rate than we had agreed before. Had a difficult time finding a Kona Limited for my son in Jacksonville. Dealers had no cars at all or were charging $4k + over sticker and we’re not upfront in some cases. From the moment I texted Eleazar (Eli) I knew the experience would be good. He was responsive and very upfront with all costs the dealer adds. Also made sure car was there before I drive over an hour. Showed up at noon and we were out by 2. Their sales manager Carmelo (Charlie) worked hard with the wholesaler / auction company to get my trade in value up to the number I wanted as it was low at first. Then the finance process took about 10 more minutes with Mike and he played no games. Even the lot attendant Hadley was very helpful with pointing out features and ensuring we moved all my sons belongings to his new car. It’s not the best time to buy a new car as you are going to pay sticker or maybe more in some cases. That said I found the Daytona team to be the best I’ve dealt with and I own 2 Genesis and another Hyundai. Will with out a doubt make the drive there in the future, Do yourself a favor and contact Eleazar (Eli). More
Poor Sales Experience for Wife and Daughter Second time coming back for we were standing on our word to do so. We told the sales personnel that we were willing to pay up to 30,000 to 31,000 for a vehicle. coming back for we were standing on our word to do so. By the time wife and daughter got to proposed offer to them, dealership had tacked on approximately 3,000 dollars in additions bringing total to 34,000 and change and that was with putting 5,000 down. I being a retired from military and a already Hyundai Palisade owner asked if family could get the extra 500.00 military off. When asked sales they stated no due to my name not being on financing. Daughter is a veterans' daughter, not just someone we brought in. If not going to give the extra we should be offered a referral fee for bring her to dealership. I guess this dealership thought they could just play with figures and we would go for it. I am very disappointed with sales, finance manger, and over all buying experience. Way to treat a veteran's family and loyal Hyundai owner. Veterans take your business else where! I will give thumbs up to service center, both times that my Palisade was in for service was treated with respect and I felt they were there to take care of needs. I called Daytona Hyundai, asking about an ad I heard on the radio. Spoke with Regina and described what I heard in their ad. So we came to the dealership not expecting to purchase a vehicle, but I guess I wouldn't be leaving a review if I hadn't.......right? Regina showed us a few vehicles new and pre-owned, and we chose the new one. I had to leave for work, but a few hours later, they had the deal done, no haggling, no fuss, so we went back the next day and picked up our new car. Regina and Mike (the F&I guy) were wonderful.
