I, Charlie McHale, reached out to Doug Sellers for a couple reasons after i saw his review. First we never spoke and i knew nothing of his situation. What i did see was a one star review with my name attached to it. The next day after i left a message for him he called another manager at the store Mario. I was able to speak to him during that call very brief and i explained to him that i respect that he voiced his opinion but could he please correct it to the person he actually dealt with. He said he didn't car to call Genesis and some other yelling to which i told him that was not very good KARMA to knowingly do that to someone. After looking into his situation Mario spoke to him multiple times with 1 being over 15 minutes when he explained to him his trade in value and that the pre owned vehicle was CPO. We may not have been 1200 away but with the customer living in ft lauderdale and having a over 50,000 trade i agree with our team it would have been a lot worse to actually come to the dealer and then give him less. I could go on and on but that's not what we want to do. At Daytona Hyundai we don't do things like that. It's always the best to have your trade properly appraised in person. Everyone's actions make sense to themselves and there's always 3 sides to a story.

Hey Doug, This is Charlie. We never spoke or worked on a deal. Asking around i found out that you spoke to Regina the Dani. I never worked a deal or numbers for you on our car and on your car. Leaving a review i totally stand behind whether it be good or bad but i dont believe in attaching anyone that you did not deal with. If i did get to speak to you and you voiced your concerns i am 100 percent positive that it would have all been worked out. Just looking at dealer rater will tell you that. I'm still in the process of getting all the information i can and then i will post it all to go over with you.

Go away. If you want to pontificate publicly, explain your $2,000 market adjustment that you add to MSRP. Other Hyundai dealers don’t have this pure profit addition.

Every other Hyundai dealership has it and at Daytona Hyundai we are the absolute lowest. Unfortunately some of the dealers call them other fee's and you do not find out until you are in finance. I have one from every single dealer in my office if you would like to stop by and go over them. That's the first thing to address. Second is the minute you purchase this car it is worth 6000 more. Customers are definately not complaining about driving their Hyundai for 2-3 years putting 20k miles on them and still getting MSRP on trade. There's a lot more to this than what you put in your origanal complaint. Like i said i'm always here with no door on the office so any one can come see me at anytime. I would like to know how i got singled out here? It's ok to attach me to your complaint but you never stopped in to see me with your problem, let me know about how you were feeling, or anything else. We did not even have vehicles on the ground for many months. Everything that came in was presold. It's easy to say go away but it's not the right thing to do if everything you are saying is the truth. Let's get to the bottom of this and see where it went wrong. This is no different than me going and posting on another dealers dealer rater, picking out a manager and writing a bad review. That would not be right never mind even sound right. If you did purchase your vehicle for less i'm happy you got what you wanted if you did. (i dont think you mentioned if you actually purchased or not). I'm here to go over all of it with you.
