I had called Hyundai expressing an interest in a new 2009 Hyundai Sonata. Lee said there was only one remaining on the lot, but come on by and see some of the other vehicles available. To make the story short, we (wife and I) settled on a 2010 model. From beginning to end, there were no false comments or pressureI to buy a car. Lee was very personable, receptive to queries and was a pleasure to deal with. Lee emphasized that we should consider him our contact for anything relating to the vehicle, which I have taken advantage of. We have purchased a few cars prior to this one, and no ever said " the first oil change is on me". To some this would be a token offer, but we appreciated it. I know that it will be quite sometime before I have to even think about another vehicle, but if and when the time comes, would Lee be the first one I would contact, you bet I would. More

I'm on my third Hyundai. In 2002 I bought an Elantra for my Daughter to drive back and forth to college. In 2004, I purchased a Santa Fe for the comfort and room. Each time, I shopped around, the guys at Jon Hall always had the best deal, in addition they made sure I got the color (interior and exterior) and all the extra equipment that I wanted. I have found that Hyundai's are an unremarkable value for the price, and their owner loyality program with generous rebates makes ungrading when you are ready easy. To my surprise, I've also found that the trade in value on these cars was better than any other manufacture that I've previously owned. The courtesy does not end at Jon Hall once you have bought your vechicle. The Service department will schedule your maintence at your convenience, not theirs. The car has always been ready when promised. I give the guys at Jon Hall 5 stars ***** More
On Saturday, our salesman, Chris Nelson, and a manager, dark-haired heavy-set guy, both said our trade-in qualified for $4,500 from the Cash for Clunkers program. We filled out the paperwork, got a bottom- dark-haired heavy-set guy, both said our trade-in qualified for $4,500 from the Cash for Clunkers program. We filled out the paperwork, got a bottom-line price, and were prequalified, but we had to return the next day with our trade-in to complete the deal. The next day, with nothing left to do but sign our check, the manager told us our trade-in did not qualify for the Clash for Clunkers, that they had made a mistake yesterday when looking it up on cars.gov. Apparently, they were lying or completely incompetent, neither of which is good, because "two" different people would not make the same mistake, especially considering how long the program has been running and that they were not new employees at Jon Hall Hyundai in Daytona Beach, Florida. Their underhandedness/incompetence was made even more irksome because of the distance we had driven to this dealer, twice, and because we had spent several hours preparing our vehicle for the trade-in (removing the hitch, reinstalling the factory radio, finding the year's worth of insurance documentation, etc., not to mention the time filling out the paperwork. It was certainly a bate-and-switch, so buyers beware! Needless to say, we refused to buy the car and will never shop there again, and probably not ever at a Jon Hall dealer, if this is how they do business. More
When we visited this dealership with my husband - we were approached by a white haired older gent with a southern accent' that had the personality of a dried up prune and he didn't even tell us his name - ou approached by a white haired older gent with a southern accent' that had the personality of a dried up prune and he didn't even tell us his name - our vehicle we drove in with was a Black Hummer H-3 - the 1st thing he said was "You are not going to trade in that H-1 are you?" - so this already told me he knows nothing about vehicles - a H-1 looks NOTHING like a H-3 - then we asked about the Sonata that was advertised for $15k + - he said "oh I think we have only 1 - but I don't know which one it is" - so he then went inside for 15 minutes and came out with the keys and then tried to locate the vehicle by pressing the alarm on the remote.......since we didn't want to waste our time or his - we asked him to have someone look at our H-3 and tell us a ballpark of what it's worth - we knew we were upside down - but depending on how much - was if we could do a deal or not - the response we got was "We don't do business that way" - my husband and I have purchased over 20 vehicles in the past 10 years and have always did business this way with other dealerships - so the saleman, supposedly went in and asked the manager - he came back out - dropped the keys in my husbands hand and said "Like I told you before - we don't do busness like that - said we would go inside if we were really buyers" and walked away - we were so appaulled...we went home and called Hyuandai of St. Augustine and spoke to the manager - told him what happened and he assured us that he would treat us right - we went there the following day and purchased a 2009 Sonata SE....and had a WONDERFUL Experience......OH and my dad had gone to this same dealership a few months ago to buy the new Genisis and didn't because he didn't like the deal - so he also went to Hyuandai of St. Augustine and they gave him a deal of $3,000 better than Jon Hall Hyandai in Daytona......DON'T GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP - GO TO HYANDAI OF ST. AUGUSTINE - WHICH I RATE ***** (5 Stars) - THE BEST! More

Plus he was extremely well mannered and took care of everything I needed! I was given a fair price for my trade and kept my payments from going up too much. Frustrating experience, but I would not say I was mistreated. My salesman or the manager I don't know who, was very inflexable on price and would not stop talking about payment.
