The words I would use to describe my experience with Daytona Hyundai are manipulative and strategic. I was told multiple times that Hyundai was paying off my existing car loan. My car was in rough shape but I have gotten trade in appraisals varying between $2800-3400. (One of which was from the Daytona Hyundai website, quoting $3372 for "rough shape," which is defined by them as "several mechanical and/or cosmetic problems requiring significant repairs.") Unfortunately, I didn't catch what they did until everything was signed and done. Their way of "paying off" my existing loan was to increase the sticker about $4300. Which, still was more than my existing loan. When I reached out to my sales person, she said that she thinks I got about $500 for my trade in. I expressed how unhappy I was that I really felt like I got taken advantage of and all I got was, basically, sorry for the misunderstanding. I would've never accepted that and it was never discussed. She acted as though my monthly payment was more than originally estimated because of interest rates, but it seems, it's because I'm paying $4300 more for the car than the sticker price. They have me for 3 years but I will never step foot into that dealership again. I've had wonderful experiences with RChill Mitsubishi in DeLand and should've followed my gut but I really wanted a Hyundai Tuscon. Hopefully, I can stop someone from making the same mistake I did. More

I subtly brought this issue up to an employee in the parts department and they took care of what the service advisor team couldn't. The mechanics cannot do their job, arguing about what oil type the manual says, and not understanding basic automotive electrical systems. More

I purchased TWO vehicles from Daytona Hyundai in the past 10 years, the last one just weeks ago, and this sale by far was the most customer service oriented and detailed I’ve ever encountered in my 10 new cars buying history! xxxxxxto Dani on her diligence on follow up, sincerely listening to my wants and needs, and to ALL of Daytona Hyundai for their efforts. I purchased a car that none of us were aware had a bit of body damage (as it was in detail throughout the sale), guess who had all body work completed, to near perfection, to satisfy their customer?!? Dani, and all of Daytona Hyundai! This is what I call a team, and customer support, resulting in 100% satisfaction! Thank you, Dani and team! More

I will never buy another vehicle from Daytona Hyundai because of their service department. No one returns my calls and the appointments on line won’t let you book because they are booked 30 days out. The last two times I was able to get in it took hours just to change the oil. They put the car on the front side where I walked down and watched through the window and they never rotated the tires but I had already been there over 4 hours and wasn’t waiting. Bottom line, their service department is the worst I have ever experienced and I am so angry that I continue to tell my story to everyone that even mentions that they might buy a car there. My son went in there just after we bought the 2023 and wanted to test drive a Veloster and the salesman said they didn’t have anyone available to go with him. Needless to say he went to Deland and paid cash for one because they didn’t judge him for his appearance. What Daytona Hyundai didn’t realize is that even though he was 21 years old, he owns a company called ByteHost.io that grossed over 10 million last year. He has several vehicles but wanted the Veloster. Shame on the salesman who prejudged him because he lost several sales over that one incident. The service department is the real problem there though and I am completely done with them. I suggest if you or anyone you know insists on buying Hyundai, DO NOT BUY From DAYTONA HYUNDAI More

I left Daytona Toyota and traded in my highlander to Daytona Hyundai. Dani was the sales person I dealt with and could not have been more pleased with how she conducted everything. By the time I left I felt like she was my sister… Very sweet, very honest and extremely helpful. Even after I purchased the car and had problems navigating through certain buttons, and things I just could not understand. She promptly answered me with the correct answers and help me get out of many many jams. She is certainly someone to be honored not just her sales approach, but her sweet and loving personality. If it were not for her I would not have bought my car … Which, by the way I love ! More
