Horrible service but even worst than that was the service tech himself. Paul had the absolute worst customer service skills you could imagine. Nothing went as was originally agreed upon. A 1 day/4 hour job took 3. The communication was horrible, the excuses were comical. Went in for a recall and service tech said there were no issues. How does that happen with a recall? Husband calls & questions it, him and service advisor chuckle, advisor says HE WILL CALL my husband back when it's done. Sends me a text with a number I didn't know and responded ok, mind you I'm super busy and dealing with other things so I forgot about the text. My husband comes home & asks did they call you? I said no! He said the advisor said he was going to CALL ME when it's ready! Now ho to 5:50pm 3rd day vehicle is in for a 4 hour recall. Husband calls to speak to advisor - he's gone for the day per the woman at the service desk. So husband asks about the vehicle and she asks for our last name he tells her & she says "there's no vehicle under your name, can you spell it for me?" He spells it out not once but twice - she comes back with "there's no vehicle under that name, do you have your Vin #?" Now we are getting pissed - whomever was in charge got on and same thing happened but this person asks "is it under a business name?" Now my husbands furious - he said wait your lost my vehicle person says no, there's no vehicle under your name. Gentleman says give me a few minutes to try and locate the vehicle. At this point I chimed in & said we are busy & trying to do stuff, call us back when you find our vehicle. It was found 10 minutes later. I go to pick up the vehicle & advisor says I text this # and they responded ok. I said oh yea, that's my # I was and am extremely busy - so that's on me for forgetting about the text. I said to the advisor my husband asked if you CALLED me and I said no but, you told him you'd CALL HIM. Advisor said I dropped the ball I'm sorry. I said none of this would've been this bad if you would've made the CALL to HIM and not texted me. I looked at the paperwork and it only had my # on it & said you told my husband you'd CALL HIM so how were you going to do that if you never wrote down the #? He goes my bad, I really dropped the ball & I said when you tell someone YOU are going to CALL THEM then that's what you do, not text me. We joked a little and i said the person at the service desk is incompetent, how do you get Hxxxxx out of Txxxxx? He said, yeah no clue shes only been here a couple days & I've only been doing this 2 months. I also explained we can't use the Uconnect and he said yeah, your husband told me that. If you want i can get someone to fix that now? I said i cant i have to go to the dentist, please have someone contact us for that. He then asked for my husband's number so he could call and apologize. I get home last night and my husband said the advisor blamed me, said it's your wife's fault. 1. The advisor never took my husbands number down. 2. The technician said there was nothing wrong with our recalled vehicle. 3. Advisor text my # instead if CALLING my Husband as he said he would. 4. The woman at the service desk wasn't paying attention when my husband spelled out our last name twice & how many people know their Vin #? I know I don't. 5. Still waiting for someone to contact us because we can't use the UCONNECT on our vehicle. 6. I forgot about the text and I apologized but don't place the blame on me when advisor told my HUSBAND he would CALL HIM. More

Randy Dye has a great team at Daytona Dodge. Joshua Riegler and Tim Rodewald made our second new car purchase from Daytona just a great as our first. I had reached out through Cars.com to about a half dozen dealers in central Florida in our search for our next vehicle. Some of these other dealers had crazy add ons, others went up in price rather than negotiating, one never responded at all. The team at Daytona Dodge were upfront, worked with us to get us the right price for the right vehicle with no pressure or games. We negotiated the price through text and email and they had the van ready for us to check out when we arrived. Everything was exactly as they said it would be. It did take a little longer than we expected to fill out all the forms, but we are happy with our purchase and look forward to seeing them in the future for service. The last van we bought new from them lasted over 12 years and more than 200,000 miles so we trust them to help us take care of our new one. More
Mike Holland was an excellent salesman. He knew the product and was a "no pressure" experience. Working with him made it one of the best experiences I have had purchasing a vehicle.
