During the service, the tech discovered the oil service place I went to previously stripped the drain plug threads in the oil pan. Not Dayton Toyota’s fault, and the repair is appropriately on me to pay. As this car has a Subaru engine, oil pan is complex and labor intensive to replace. They were so understanding and compassionate about my need to replace the oil pan at my own cost and my unexpected loss of access to a daily driving vehicle, they gave me a loaner car for as long as I needed it. Peter Spano, my service advisor, went above and beyond. He kept me informed, took pictures and wrote up details of damage for me to seek reimbursement from prior oil change facility who did the damage. Tom Kozak, the Service Manager, supported Peter in anything he asked for to help me. They are an amazing team and treated me with grace and dignity. Peter went on vacation before my car repair was finished. He completely transitioned all the details to another service advisor, Steve, who continued the excellent service and finished the process, delivered my car back to me fully functional, and even did some work on my Camry previously scheduled with Peter. Long story. I share details because I had a great service experience as I always have had in the past. Highly recommend Tom, Peter, and Steve at Dayton Toyota for your service needs. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. READ AND NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE. I just want to start by stating that Ralph Ruggiero, the General Manager and Omar Garcia, the Sales Ma READ AND NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE. I just want to start by stating that Ralph Ruggiero, the General Manager and Omar Garcia, the Sales Manager, are very unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I will never return to this dealership and would not recommend anyone else too. Probably needs to be closed down or new set of management, this dealership will go down hill soon. I purchased a certified used vehicle about 2 months ago, one morning the car did not turn. No lights on dash nothing. I called the dealership to see if the car can get towed to the dealership, they said NO and that they would have a technician from there dealer come out and jump start the vehicle. Tech came out and plugged the negative claw on the positive side of the battery, and then plugged the positive claw on the negative side of the battery, then jumped started it and huge spark come from the battery area, causing several issues. I told the tech to call the dealership and let them what he just did to my car. He called the dealership and the dealership got the car towed to shop. They took the car in, replaced the battery with the non - original one and they also did not want to check the rest of the unsafe issues the tech caused with sparking the battery, ruining fuses and other electronics of the car. I asked for a letter stating everything that the dealership technician did and they said NO. I asked for a warranty for the new battery they gave me, they gave me a Google search Toyota policy that they printed out from Google, not even an official warranty. I asked for President, David Nappa contact information, and Ralph Ruggiero said NO, that he is the only person I can talk to and then told me to get out and contact a lawyer and to continue to contact their customer care. They do not understand the basics of customer service, and customer satisfactions. This dealership is a huge scam, the sales department knows nothing about cars and their mechanics also do not know anything about cars either. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS. More
I dropped the Sienna 2014 for issues with break pedal getting stuck and need to jump start the car. I was informed for the following problems to fix: spark plugs, rear break pad, transmission fluid, rear getting stuck and need to jump start the car. I was informed for the following problems to fix: spark plugs, rear break pad, transmission fluid, rear torsion bar bushings, battery and water pumps. Charged me 3844.40 for labor and 1339.59 for parts. Got 10% discount. Total charge after discount and tax was 5006.61. the work performed by single engineer within 8 hr 46 min. Labor rate is 185/hr. This does not match with 3844.40. when I asked explanation to the manager, he said, the charges industry standard, engineer might have got helper assistant. Some engineers might perform faster. So the engineer accounted 22.3 hr of labor charging 3844.40, must be superman. I bought my Sienna 2014 from this dealer and a loyal customer for 10 years servicing both Camry and Sienna. I am very.very disappointed by the response by the manager and the way they charge. Untrustworthy business. I will never go or recommend this place to anyone. More
Your new waiting room is very nice, but I would MUCH rather the money spent had gone to hiring another technician. Then, maybe, I would not have to wait 2 hours when promised it would be ready in 1 hour rather the money spent had gone to hiring another technician. Was there at 8am so there should not have been a backup at that time and I was only having tires rotated and air and engine filters rleplaced. More

Very disappointing experience with the service advisors. I will never go back again. I found out if a service is recommended by any specific service advisor, any other service advisor will not be interested I will never go back again. I found out if a service is recommended by any specific service advisor, any other service advisor will not be interested to complete that work because he's not going to get commission for that work. I went there 2-3 times on Saturdays to get the recommended job done but no other advisor was interested because the advisor who recommended the service was not available. I told a senior advisor clearly that I'll never come back to Dayton Toyota again because of their rude attitude. He didn't seem to care anyway. More

brought a highlander in for 15,000 mile service. They forgot to check the engine air filter or the cabin air filter. This generally should be replaced at about 15,000 anyway. i checked myself and it was forgot to check the engine air filter or the cabin air filter. This generally should be replaced at about 15,000 anyway. i checked myself and it was in poor shape, dirty and cracked. I brought it back and spoke with SERVICE Manager TOM KULESA. Tom was not friendly, accused me of damaging the filter, but acknowledged the receipt had no indication that it was checked. He was shown the condition and although he is not a mechanic he just said that it looked fine. The bottom line they didn't bother checking and rather than apologizing they chose to blame the customer. I have been buying Toyotas for 35 years , have owned 8 of them . I will not come back here to buy or service again. They failed to document their work and then made up excuses. Oh and by the way , don't believe that they wash the cars as promised, each time I come the car wash system is "not available" Oh, and the service staff rarely bother with masks. The service manager did not have one on even though he was standing 2 feet away . More
Had an appointment for an oil change at 9:15, car still had not been touched at 11. They called and texted me at least 4 times to confirm the appointment. Drove away at 11 am. I spoke to the service writer had not been touched at 11. They called and texted me at least 4 times to confirm the appointment. Drove away at 11 am. I spoke to the service writer, the service manager and left a message for the general manager, no one cares. Try someplace else they just do not care and I purchased the car there. More
Worst service experience, Service is very expensive Brand new car bought from same dealer and not even 7000 mileage on car. I had given my 2021 Toyota Sienna to Dayton Toyota to fix the fl expensive Brand new car bought from same dealer and not even 7000 mileage on car. I had given my 2021 Toyota Sienna to Dayton Toyota to fix the flat tire. Next day I got call from them for below estimate. Mount and Balance 1 tire: $$170.20 Tire Sensor Broke Off: $$278.42 Power steering rack tie rod end is bent: $$1248.48 Alignment ( Four wheel)-$$ 124.95 They gave me 70% higher estimate to fix those problems than another dealer i ask for. Next day when I asked them to give a estimate on Toyota letter pad to submit my insurance then doubled the price for power steering rack tie road to $$2758.48 from $$ 1248.48. When I asked for the price change reason then i was told verbally on phone call by Jesenia Dupuy that labor price was not included in $$1248.48 so they add labor $$1510.00 to fix only power Power steering tie road.. Ridiculous are they kidding??? I asked her to give detail break down on Toyota letter head for part and labor price and she refused. worst part is that I was adding her manager Tom Kulsea in every email conversation I had with her but he never replied me. I had to call about 15 times in a day to reach Jesenia or Tom kulsea but they are never reachable on call neither got reply from voice mail I left. Tried to reach out Michael Dooley director of fixed operation but no success, left voice mail but no replay. I was really disappointed and frustrated so reached out to Toyota customer service manager Marissa Kuebler. The only help i got from her is she is always reachable at her extension without that nothing. If i want to talk to service department then i had to call Marissa first and she informed service department and then i got call back from service department. Sometime I feel it is easy to reach president compare to Jesenia or Tom Kulsea. I bought new tire and tire sensor with road side hazards insurance from outside authorized dealer in $ 150.00 which was 70% less price compare to Toyota estimate. I fixed my power steering tie road and wheel Alignment by Toyota in $$3130.00. This whole process took two week and they denied to give even loaner car. however this was a simple job and this team failed to deliver. Whole service department needs training how to handle customer. Terrible service experience. I will never recommend this dealer to anyone. Do not ever go to this dealer. They will treat to good when you wants to buy new car but when it comes to service they will charged you more compare to other dealer and not willing to help even in any circumstances. More
