We had previously purchased a car from Dayton Toyota in 2004 and had a very good experience. Having already researched and test driven the car we were interested in, Bob took us through the process quickl 2004 and had a very good experience. The car listed on the dealers inventory was available and brought out for inspection without delay. Bob listened and answered our questions knowledgably with a minimum of sales pressure. Once we decided to purchase the car, we were able to complete the transaction and associated paperwork, allowing us to drive home with the car the very same day. I was taken care of quickly. At least 3 people asked if I was being helped while I was waiting for my agent, Michael, to bring a car around from stock. Michael was great to work with. I went for new 2010 Prius and offered my price to this Sales rep. She along with her manager worked on final price that we all agreed on but they wanted me to make the payment same day. As it was 'All Cash' deal, I told them it will take few days for me to arrange, I even offered to pay deposit. They agreed saying that once I am ready I can come and pay all cash and take the car. After that I called them to tell that I am ready, to my surprise they said that now the price is increased by $4k then what we had agreed only 2 days back. I can understand couple of hundred dollar difference but $4K hike sound ridiculous to me. They are not the people I can trust anymore and this kind of behavior looks childish to me. The sales rep was fairly junior but her manager whom I did the dealing was overly smart with no customer relationship skills. After this experience I will not recommend this to anyone as they can change anytime. More

I came to Dayton Toyota not to buy a car but to explore my options in buying a car in the near future. However, what I found was a very friendly set of employees that understood my needs, both financially my options in buying a car in the near future. I have to especially recognize the person who sold me the car, Mr. Gene Bonnell, for being a terrific salesman. He not only knew exactly the car that I would want, but he was also very fair in the negotiations. He was very friendly and sincere and his honesty was just a plus. He sold me the car I wanted for the price I wanted and he made sure to find it for me even in the color I wanted. Even after the sale, he had no hesitation to show me every little specific aspect of the car and how to use it so I would get the best enjoyment out of the car. He also answered every question that I had after buying the car and was always eager to help me in any way that he could. I told this to him myself but I will say it again: he is the true example of an excellent salesman. His experience and confidence combined with his knowledge of the car industry really stood out and influenced my decision to buy the car from Dayton Toyota. And honestly, the car I originally wanted to buy was the Honda Civic, however, when I went to Open Road Honda, all I saw was the pressure to make the customer buy and telling them that they are the "best" with no substantial backup or support. This self-centered attitude combined with their lack of friendliness made me to turn to Nissan and Toyota instead. I mean it is the job of sales people to kind of force sales upon customers but not by directly pressuring the customer but rather by presenting quality information that will lure the customer into their products, thus making them feel self-pressured by the desire to buy the product. This is what Mr. Gene Bonnell at Dayton Toyota did for me which led me to make the decision to buy the car from Toyota. And in the end, I'm very happy to have purchased the Toyota Corolla S from Dayton Toyota because I think, no I know that it is the best car I could have possibly bought for the money I paid from the three big names. But Toyota once again showed that it is the bigger of the three and I just have to say that I LOVE MY NEW CAR! And I wouldn't trade it for the Civic in any lifetime! Thank you Dayton Toyota and thank you Mr. Gene Bonnell for selling me a GREAT car! More

Walter from service also allowed me to use the discount I got from bringing in a toy (that's why I stopped in- but my lease was runnong out also) from service to some new mats and stuff I needed for my new car.
