Dear Sir,I apologize for the confusion and misinterpretation of our BDC employee concerning the purchase of your vehicle.Our buying policy is dictated by market conditions,inventory levels,and customer demand.We purchase many cars from customers and feel we are fair and upstanding as evidenced by our status with Toyota,BBB,and Dealerrater,as we are a certified Dealer.The values that we use for purchasing are based on the Galves wholesale book for the northeast.The value that was given to you,in the 10000 range was not taken off the top of the managers head but actually right from the weekly wholesale prices and auction reports.I am sorry that you didnt feel it was enough and Ido not know if you have sold the vehicle but we do feel it was a fair offer and it still stands.Every Dealer has different opinions and values of all used cars.We presently have a substanial inventory of the model you were offering for sale but we would be interested at the value you were told.We look at the whole transaction differently when you are purchasing another vehicle from us and most Dealers,like ourselves are more apt to put more money on the car when we are selling one to you.If you are still interested please contact Dave Oshry at 732 329 9191 at your earliest conveinence.

I would like to go on record and state that Dayton Toyota has never participated or endorsed any bait and switch sales practice.Unfortunately in this particular situation there was a deposit placed on the car and the BDC representative was unaware.We are a 11 time Toyota Presidents Award winner and a Certified Signature Dealer through Toyota Motor Corporation.These awards are only given to Dealers that have the highest customer satisfaction ratings with the company.We take pride in those achievements and this was an unfortunate circumstance.We continue to practice our ethical sales process and welcome any one to experience that in our showroom.Paul Sperco GSM
