First visited Dayton Toyota for a gas pedal recall on my 2003 4Runner. While there met Bill Barton and took a test drive in a new 2011 4Runner and Highlander. Got a good price on my trade in as calculated beforehand on the Dayton Toyota website. My experience buying this vehicle was pleasant and uncomplicated,and I would definitely recommend this dealership and salesman. More

I did NOT buy my car THIS time from Dayton Toyota, although 2 out of the last 4 times I bought cars (which were all Toyotas) were from Dayton. I did buy the car (2011 Corolla trading in my 2009 Corol although 2 out of the last 4 times I bought cars (which were all Toyotas) were from Dayton. I did buy the car (2011 Corolla trading in my 2009 Corolla) from another Toyota dealership because bottom line, they gave me a much better price. This dealership basically did not get my business because the sales / general manager Paul Sperco was $600 higher and would not be budged. It's a shame because Vicki Nowak the Internet business manager was wonderful to me when I spoke with her over the phone and my sales person Jeff Marcus was truly professional, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous in his dealings with me. He deserved a better fate because HE truly earned my business. I still would recommend this dealership, and certainly Jeff because I do believe they can all learn from this experience, and I know from my going to them in the past for service, that they truly take excellent care of their customers and do quality work. Both Bill and Jeffrey were very helpful. They were very patient, and they took the time to go over all the car's features, both of the mechanical and "gadget type". Bill was very thorough ,professional and kind. We came in looking for a used car for our daughter who is a new driver. Was going back to back on emails to get my car appraised. Was hard to find a time with my Schedual. I did not wish to trade the car in for a Toyota as I was just selling the car and wanted to see daytons off Was hard to find a time with my Schedual. I did not wish to trade the car in for a Toyota as I was just selling the car and wanted to see daytons offer. I was told it was fine to come by for an appraisal at 5:30 pm to 6 pm April 14 2011. When I arrived I was asked what I wanted buy the receptionist in the service area next to the CPO cars but did not get name. Tall white male all I can say. I asked him if he can direct me to dmitry and I was told no and what for. I told him I wanted to get my car appraised to sell and was told to come down. He said he can't help me and just gave me a random number off his head for the car. Then was told to go sell the car at another dealership. Was very rude and would not direct me to dmitry so I had to call him and he had no idea I was looking to only sell my car even though I stated it on the email. I took off from work early so I could come to the dealer and work things out but was pretty much thrown out the door. Horrible experience and all I can say is goodluck to the dealer with that attitude I tried to be reasonable. More
