Worst customer treatment, rude, arrogant and hostile Recently i purchased Toyota Prius from Dayton Toyota. I had the most worst experience with Dayton Toyota. Sales person "Beth Emburgia" and the g Recently i purchased Toyota Prius from Dayton Toyota. I had the most worst experience with Dayton Toyota. Sales person "Beth Emburgia" and the guy "Jason" in finance treated me very badly. Beth Emburgia was normal until i said Yes to purchase the car. From that moment she was soo rude and arrogant. Once when i called her, she slammed and hung the phone. Her biggest problem is, she did not listen to what i am trying to say. Second, she goes to the manager for each and everything i ask. She cannot answer by herself and runs to manager for every 2-3 mins and i have to wait. Finally she comes back and gives me only one answer "NO". Absolutely she could not understand what i was trying to say and runs to the manager for everything, such a dumb and stupid. She is not capable to answer a simple question. If she had to go to manager for each and everything to get an answer, then what is her job and i could very well talk to manager directly. She projected me in bad light and made me to look like some crazy customer always with a problem. This made me feel soo bad. Next time when i went, she was absolutely hostile. I deeply regret buying the car from Dayton Toyota. Its all because of BETH who lack total understanding and unfit to deal with customer, she projects customer as a bad person. On top of it, she absolutely had no idea about the trims and features of the car. I don't know why Dayton Toyota is having a sales rep who treats customer so badly, being dumb and total unfit for the job. She was also raciest and passed comments on my ethnicity. Then comes the Financial guy "Jason". He explained me the warranty and its cost. I was not interest in purchasing extra warranty. Immediately he got upset and started showing some weird funny faces. Then he started behaving rude and arrogant. I don't know why he has to get upset and rude when it is my choice to purchase the warranty. After i signed all the papers he just walked out, no bye, nothing, his attitude was like "its done, now get out". I don't know why Dayton Toyota having such a rude and arrogant people who treat customer soo badly. I did raise my concern to the manager and told him how i felt, I think he din't care,, all the time he was defending. I had toyota cars before and fan of toyota. After this terrible treatment from Dayton toyota, i would never ever step in their showroom. Also i lost trust in Toyota car dealership and would never buy any toyota products in my life. More

How can that be when overhead is usually 10% per car? Here's some data: (MSRP - Invoice) / MSRP Ever since 1995 when internet boom, invoice prices have been inflated as invoice to MSRP spread has decreased. Toyota Camry 1993 - 16.0% 1995 - 13.3% 1998 - 12.5% 2002 - 11.0% 2008 - 10.8% 2013 - 9.0% Toyota Corolla 1993 - 14.0% 1995 - 12.3% 1998 - 11.4% 2003 - 9.5% 2013 - 7.3% Toyota 4Runner 1993 - 15.5% 1996 - 13.2% 1998 - 12.5% 2003 - 10.7% 2008 - 9.7% 2013 - 8.0% End of yr is best time. Modern dealerships make money from quotas based on total sales volume for whole yr. Dealers get $1200-1800 "bonus" per car sold for entire year (retroactively) if dealers achieve a secret car sales volume. Dealers more willing to negotiate at end of yr because "losing money" on 1 sale may be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars by hitting quota. Dayton was willing to lower their initial 5% below MSRP offer once I showed competitive quotes (9% below MSRP), as well as an understanding of their modern invoice pricing. Bring your checkbook, proof of insurance, and stand your ground, then they know you're serious. You have to be willing to buy otherwise dealers will call your bluff. After that, Dayton was cordial in closing the deal. In the end, I payed 11.3% below current MSRP, so I achieved my goal. All it took was 1-1/2 hours to close deal.
