Awful experience Not happy at all. The whole transaction was like " not trusting customer" . Asked many times to sign in a blank paper when I quoted something. Everyth Not happy at all. Everything was done in hurry so that they can close the deal before closing . I didn't even get a chance to do test drive and I think I was too exhausted to argue further. Worst when I see they are offering pretty low deal than what I got . Their initial quote was just testing my patience. Very bad experience. After I receive the car I hear a rattling noise in my driver side window when it is closed all the way . Took it to service and they do not hear anything normal. I am pretty sure they do not want to hear anything . Can't believe a Toyota dealership can be so bad. More
Online helps Since I found the exact used Tacoma I was looking for online and read the Carfax report before I contacted Dayton, I was able to make a reasonable off Since I found the exact used Tacoma I was looking for online and read the Carfax report before I contacted Dayton, I was able to make a reasonable offer to the dealership that was accepted before I drove an hour to make the deal. There was no "bait and switch" and the truck was everything that I was hoping for based upon the Dayton website details and the CafFax report. It was very easy to negotiate with Michael Robinson, no high pressure methods, and even though there was a problem with the A/C, the dealership in general was helpful in getting things resolved. I wasn't crazy about the financing experience, since the website indicated a 4.5% interest rate on available financing, and we were told 5.5 was all that was available when we sat down. This was a little off-putting. So were the laundry list of warranties that were being offered. That whole experience was the only pressure we felt during the time we were at Dayton. Overall, however, having purchased many new and used cars over the years, this was one of the best car-buying experiences. More
Bad service experience I went to this dealer to get power doors fixed as per a recall notice. During the fix process, the wiring to brake lights was messed up by the technic I went to this dealer to get power doors fixed as per a recall notice. During the fix process, the wiring to brake lights was messed up by the technician. This resulted in third brake light on the top not working. The sheriff pulled over me and my wife and gave warning that the third brake light on the top was not working. That's when we realized the lights were messed up after the recall fix. I went to Dayton Toyota. I told them they messed up my brake lights. They said door fix had nothing to do with wiring for brake lights and they are not responsible for this issue. They charged me around 160$ to fix connecting cable to light fixture. It is a shame that they induced the issue and not ready to accept their fault. I will never recommend this dealer to anyone. They fixed my rear brakes which was also not done to my satisfaction. Do not ever go to this dealer. More
