During the service, the tech discovered the oil service place I went to previously stripped the drain plug threads in the oil pan. Not Dayton Toyota’s fault, and the repair is appropriately on me to pay. As this car has a Subaru engine, oil pan is complex and labor intensive to replace. They were so understanding and compassionate about my need to replace the oil pan at my own cost and my unexpected loss of access to a daily driving vehicle, they gave me a loaner car for as long as I needed it. Peter Spano, my service advisor, went above and beyond. He kept me informed, took pictures and wrote up details of damage for me to seek reimbursement from prior oil change facility who did the damage. Tom Kozak, the Service Manager, supported Peter in anything he asked for to help me. They are an amazing team and treated me with grace and dignity. Peter went on vacation before my car repair was finished. He completely transitioned all the details to another service advisor, Steve, who continued the excellent service and finished the process, delivered my car back to me fully functional, and even did some work on my Camry previously scheduled with Peter. Long story. I share details because I had a great service experience as I always have had in the past. Highly recommend Tom, Peter, and Steve at Dayton Toyota for your service needs. More
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. READ AND NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE. I just want to start by stating that Ralph Ruggiero, the General Manager and Omar Garcia, the Sales Manager, are very unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I will never return to this dealership and would not recommend anyone else too. Probably needs to be closed down or new set of management, this dealership will go down hill soon. I purchased a certified used vehicle about 2 months ago, one morning the car did not turn. No lights on dash nothing. I called the dealership to see if the car can get towed to the dealership, they said NO and that they would have a technician from there dealer come out and jump start the vehicle. Tech came out and plugged the negative claw on the positive side of the battery, and then plugged the positive claw on the negative side of the battery, then jumped started it and huge spark come from the battery area, causing several issues. I told the tech to call the dealership and let them what he just did to my car. He called the dealership and the dealership got the car towed to shop. They took the car in, replaced the battery with the non - original one and they also did not want to check the rest of the unsafe issues the tech caused with sparking the battery, ruining fuses and other electronics of the car. I asked for a letter stating everything that the dealership technician did and they said NO. I asked for a warranty for the new battery they gave me, they gave me a Google search Toyota policy that they printed out from Google, not even an official warranty. I asked for President, David Nappa contact information, and Ralph Ruggiero said NO, that he is the only person I can talk to and then told me to get out and contact a lawyer and to continue to contact their customer care. They do not understand the basics of customer service, and customer satisfactions. This dealership is a huge scam, the sales department knows nothing about cars and their mechanics also do not know anything about cars either. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS. More

It was a pleasant experience because Brian established a rapport with us such that within minutes, my wife and I felt that we could trust Brian with the facts and data that he provided to us. By the time that we left the Toyota show room, (with the keys to a Rav4) we felt that our deal was reasonable and justified. More

His explanations were clear, he was transparent with the pricing options and very courteous. During our second visit (when we finally made our purchase) we were referred to Allan (Kevin's shift had ended). Allan was equally knowledgeable and thorough and helped us through the post purchase process. He was efficient and ensured that all formalities were completed as quickly as feasible so that we could be on the road with the new car. Before we drove off, he spent some time with us to explain the various functions in the car itself. Overall a big thank you to Kevin, Allan and Jason (financing) for a very smooth experience, frank discussions and a straight-forward process. Would highly recommend that you consider visiting this dealership if you are in the market for a car. More

Eric Miranda, my sales consultant, was fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making the process smooth and enjoyable. There was no pressure at all, and Eric took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. Samantha Brown, the Finance Manager, was equally impressive. She explained everything clearly, ensuring I understood all my options without any pressure or confusion. Her professionalism and transparency were greatly appreciated and made the process seamless. The team at Dayton Toyota truly prioritizes customer satisfaction, and it shows. I highly recommend both Eric Miranda and Samantha Brown to anyone considering a vehicle purchase. It was one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had! More
I dropped the Sienna 2014 for issues with break pedal getting stuck and need to jump start the car. I was informed for the following problems to fix: spark plugs, rear break pad, transmission fluid, rear getting stuck and need to jump start the car. I was informed for the following problems to fix: spark plugs, rear break pad, transmission fluid, rear torsion bar bushings, battery and water pumps. Charged me 3844.40 for labor and 1339.59 for parts. Got 10% discount. Total charge after discount and tax was 5006.61. the work performed by single engineer within 8 hr 46 min. Labor rate is 185/hr. This does not match with 3844.40. when I asked explanation to the manager, he said, the charges industry standard, engineer might have got helper assistant. Some engineers might perform faster. So the engineer accounted 22.3 hr of labor charging 3844.40, must be superman. I bought my Sienna 2014 from this dealer and a loyal customer for 10 years servicing both Camry and Sienna. I am very.very disappointed by the response by the manager and the way they charge. Untrustworthy business. I will never go or recommend this place to anyone. More

I called and texted multip After buying my Toyota Corolla Cross 2024, I came back in to get my plates put on, he rushed me out, to make another sale. I called and texted multiple times about not being happy with the manual liftgate and the extra key I had for my Camry that I traded in which I would have given to him when I came to get my plates put on, but because he rushed me out to make another sale, I forgot, no response. I finally spoke to him and he was condescending and skewed the information. I was not aware it was manual until after I bought it and came with my title. He said nothing can be done and didn't even care to look into it. I inquired that some LE's (Hybrid) have it and he said "You don't have a Hybrid" which I obviously know. I explained that my wrist hurts and inquired about getting it installed, his tone was apathetic and wouldn't even look into it. When I said that it seemed all he cared about was making a sale, he hung up on me. I am glad that I brought my father with me to purchase the car because his tone and attitude toward me without him was belittling, off-putting, and denigrating. More

My girlfriend was looking for a car and found one advertised online by Dayton Toyota that appeared to be just what she was looking for. When she told me about it, I had a couple questions about what advertised online by Dayton Toyota that appeared to be just what she was looking for. When she told me about it, I had a couple questions about what the ad said. I told her that she should call and ask the couple questions before she drove 25 miles to look at the car. She called and talked to a salesman (didn’t remember his name but she said he sounded like he had a mouth full of marbles and he name was maybe Jack, or something that started with ’J”- have to check one to post this so am checking Justin- might not have been him). Whatever his name, he didn't seem to be able to answer the questions. When he wanted to give her an appointment to come look at the car she wasn't sure she wanted to make the trip without getting my questions answered, and didn’t know exactly when she'd be able to get there anyway (this was a Saturday). First he said he was free until 3:45 but fully booked after that- then he changed that to is his “appointments were filling up fast". He wanted her cell phone number to text her and when she didn't want to give him her number he hung up on her. I expect used car salesman to be dishonest xxxxxxx- but they usually try to hide it. I thought that was unprofessional and rude enough that I called back to speak with the sales manager. I got his voice mail which informed me that he was off on Tuesdays- this was followed by 10-15 seconds of him having a conversation with someone else apparently in his office, so you had to wait until he was done with that conversation before you could leave a message. I thought that was a great indication of the professionalism of the dealership. I waited til he was done with recorded conversation, then left a message. Since I called around noon I expected a call back by the end of the day- didn't happen. I waited until after 3:00 pm Monday afternoon- still didn‘t happen. My already low opinion of Dayton Toyota was dropping. When a business annoys me enough that I don’t plan to do business with them in the future I generally, as a courtesy, call and inform the owner or manager as to why they lost my business. If they care then they can take steps to fix whatever the problem was. If they don’t care then it’s not my problem. So I called and asked to speak to the GM or the owner. I was transferred to the GM and got his voice mail. His message said that he was out of town and wouldn’t be back until May 28th. Today is June 10th so apparently I shouldn’t expect a call back til next year. Must be great place to work for if they give you a years vacation. I left a message and told him he could call me back if he cared to know why I was calling. Haven’t heard back so guess they don’t care why I was calling- or if they lose customers. Wish I had a business that was so successful I could just ignore things my employees did that pissed off the customers. More
