I'm a veteran and my experience was like a drive through while watching the changing of the guard! My husband and I had already done some homework; we knew what we wanted, we knew how much we wanted to pay, while watching the changing of the guard! I really wanted to start this paragraph off with God's soooo Good, because this is definitely the explanation and experience of how He maneuvered Jason Biskey 🗝 into our life! We drove through the dealership and after asking for a place to park, so we can come speak to a salesperson the bond begin! We were prepared with our documents for our trade; driver's license, vehicle registration, title, proof of vehicle insurance and smooth is an understatement as to how a perfect God gave us one of His solid salesmen, and what seemed like about 30 mins (about 2-2 1/2 hours) we were being put in our NEW vehicle. I'm still in awe and can't believe how it all processed through. Jason prepared us, walk us through the "keep an open mind" experience, and we're telling all our loved ones! The repair process to my 2009 Dodge 3.5L engine started off on a good note. Unfortunately - and we all know mistakes happen - the technician installed the timing belt incorrectly which was confirmed by an off on a good note. Unfortunately - and we all know mistakes happen - the technician installed the timing belt incorrectly which was confirmed by another "corporate sanctioned Dodge service center" near Charlotte NC where we live. With the authoritative analysis in hand, I asked Dayton to make good on the mistake and authorize the repairs by the Charlotte service. Dayton declined (after several exchanges) to make good - They found fault with the analysis, pointing to a detail "the belt is off 1 and a half teeth". I have several other repair shops who say that there is a fine adjustment that can appear as half a tooth - plus the car runs like this statement - How to tell if timing belt has skipped a few teeth? -----------------Symptoms of a timing belt that has jumped/skipped a few teeth: One Tooth: It will idle like normal and the exhaust will sound fine but cruise and WOT the car will feel like you've got no power and in most cases will hesitate and misfire. ---------------- I called Fiat Corporate Customer Care (they own Dodge) - they said they can do nothing - that I should take legal action if I wish. What a horrible statement from "customer care". They clearly do not know the definition of "care". ----------How an organization handles a mistake defines it.
