WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would! We took our 2014 vehicle in for engine knock in mid Nov/2018, and after almost 2 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would! We took our 2014 vehicle in for engine knock in mid Nov/2018, and after almost 2 weeks there they come back saying it was a maintenance issue and that we were at fault for not maintaining. The van is only 4 years old with 70K miles and had been meticulously kept up. We produced all the records showing the maintenance had been kept up. We stated we wanted a 2nd opinion and they need to have someone else look at it and we want to start a ticket with corporate. We were told that this would not be a problem and they'd have a certified MOPAR tech from corporate look at it. After 2 week mark, we were told that they found the same thing and it was our fault. We called corporate who told us THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF OUR VAN SITUATION AT ALL, that they also never sent anyone in for a 2nd opinion, and that a ticket was NEVER started by the dealer. Funny thing is, that the dealer kept telling us that WE needed to call corporate. So, we told dealer what was stated and they need to start a ticket, as we are fighting this. Each time we called corporate, we were told that dealer NEVER called to start ticket. The dealer told us that corporate had put a HOLD on the van. We called corporate back to learn that corporate had NOTHING to do with the hold, as it was dealer that placed the hold and was the only one that could remove it. After almost 6 weeks of van being at Dayton Andrew Chrysler, tons of lies, them ignoring us and never returning our calls or meeting with us, and their flat our refusal to start a ticket, we took our van. We had it towed to another Chrysler dealer who had no problem working on it. It also looked as though van engine had not been touched either. But, one problem the new dealer could not commence work because of the HOLD that Dayton Andrews Chrysler in St Petersburg had placed on the van. We took more time off work and went down in person after multiple ignored phone calls and they were rude and told us that their word stands and they refuse to take off BLOCK. So, we were lied to and they flat out refused to work with us (as substantiated by the records corporate has), yet they cannot remove a BLOCK when another Chrysler dealer is willing to work on it TODAY and our 7 year warranty we have says they have no problem paying for work. The only problem is DAYTON ANDREWS CHRYSLER...they refuse to make one phone call to remove a block on our van. It does not affect them one bit, but they are being totally unethical and seem to be doing this out of spite after making our life already a living xxxx for 6 weeks at their dealership and doing absolutely nothing but lying and evading us during that time. Why can't they make this right after doing us this way? All they have to do is make ONE PHONE CALL TO MOVE THE BLOCK and it is another dealer that will be doing the work not them...it will not affect them in the slightest. They REFUSE to re-review our case or take the bock off. It has now been 11 weeks without our van, which could be fixed at another dealer if they'd remove the BLOCK they put on (but lied and said they never put on originally)....But they flat out refuse to help us. We are struggling with one vehicle. DAYTON ANDREWS CHRYSLER IS VERY UNETHICAL!!!! More

Lying and broken promises We have had good service previously through our regular service advisor. However this holiday period our van was towed to dealer shop Saturday night. We have had good service previously through our regular service advisor. However this holiday period our van was towed to dealer shop Saturday night. Monday we were in contact from early in the day,. When my husband was told the van was ready, he requested and was promised by Gary that the courtesy van would pick us up to get our van. We have one vehicle only. This was early afternoon. Gary said he was finishing up the paperwork and would send the courtesy van. My husband called again when no one showed and was told we would be picked up. Later we called and discovered they were closed and had left. Tuesday was a holiday...Wednesday AM we called and a courtesy van picked us up somewhere after 10 AM. When questioned about not picking us up Monday, Gary flat out denied ever telling us we would be picked up. Well, if we had been told the truth we could have taken a cab to come and get our car and not been without it an extra day. It seems we were lied to twice...the initial promise of the service van pickup and Gary denying he messed up. He said he left out van outside so that we could pick it up Monday or Tuesday. Well, I do not believe any dealership would release any fdealership would erase a vehicle on which repare bill had not been fully paid.. also, the phone operator for the dealership told my husband that our vehicle was locked up behind the fence. We were told the bill would be $900 and change. It was in fact $1,000 and change. The only plus was that Gary was willing to take a check from our investment account because that was all we had on us to pay with. All in all, not a good way to start the new year. More
