To complete my purchase I met with Mrs. Melody Green whom I can't say enough about. She was such a joy, never rushing anything.She explained everything to me that I had to sign & answered every question. She even stayed past closing to get the deal done. Mrs. Green treated me like family and I drove home today feeling great in my new car. More

Smooth Purchase Experience I recently purchased a 2012 Civic LX from Davis Honda's pre-owned certified inventory. I had previously purchased a brand new 2008 CR-V from Davis and I recently purchased a 2012 Civic LX from Davis Honda's pre-owned certified inventory. I had previously purchased a brand new 2008 CR-V from Davis and have been a loyal Honda customer since 1997. Finance Manager John Fitch was very helpful in giving us a fair deal. I can recommend Davis Honda to anyone looking for a good selection of cars and very helpful customer service. More

Deceptive practices I went to this dealer after seeing a couple of CERTIFIED Pre-Owned Hondas that I was interested in. After test driving and thinking that I liked one I went to this dealer after seeing a couple of CERTIFIED Pre-Owned Hondas that I was interested in. After test driving and thinking that I liked one enough to buy it, we sat down to do the paperwork. The salesperson started adding on the fees...the first one blew me away. Besides the cost of the advertised CERTIFIED vehicle, I had to pay an additional $995 to actually certify the car. There is no fine print that says that this is their practice. The explanation I received is that the vehicle is 'qualified' to be certified, but you have to pay for the actual certification. They tried to convince me that this is how it's done. Aside from that, the fees for dealer prep (washing and cleaning the car) was another $495 and the documentation fees (filling out the paperwork) was another $499. This did not include tags, registration, or taxes. I later found out that these fees are outrageously high. I also found out that this is NOT how it's done at other dealers. In checking out the websites of some other dealerships, I saw that it is very clearly stated that the cost of the vehicles includes the Certification. I think this practice at Davis Honda is very deceptive. I immediately felt like they lied and were trying to scam me, so I walked away. I would never recommend anyone to this dealer. Not sure if it's a Honda thing, or a dealer thing, but I wound up buying a Toyota at a dealer that was the complete opposite of Davis! I don't blame the salesperson, it's not his fault so I won't name him; he was nice enough. I felt sorry for him that he had to work under those conditions. More

Buyer beware They use the bait and switch method at this dealership. they advertise the car for a much lower price then we you ask for the actual price not only d They use the bait and switch method at this dealership. they advertise the car for a much lower price then we you ask for the actual price not only do they take on the 1000.00, they will tack on 995.00 for the certified Honda warranty that comes with vehicle anyway. Also be careful that they don't shop your credit application to many different banks. We told them we already had the financing and wanted to use our bank. They used a copy and of our credit app and shopped it to over 7 banks without our permission. Be very careful when signing any paperwork with John Roche, he had my fiancé sign a one form when he was signing for the car and it turned out to be a copy of a different credit application and when we insisted on getting a copy they told us they didn't have it. Tried to tell us they gave us everything. We ended up cancelling the deal and returned the car. We also dealt with Mario who is one of the Sales Managers he's very rude and unprofessional also. When we returned their car I inadvertently gave them my Honda Odyssey key with their car key and they now are claiming they don't have that either. There was a woman that sits in an office next to John Roche's office she was pissed at us for not trusting them and the fact that we returned the car, she started yelling at me and tried to get me engaged in a screaming match about returning our deposit. You'll notice that their names don't appear in the employee listing on this site. Buyer beware More
