At first dealership was hesitant to work with me as an out-of-state buyer, since I was unable to travel and buy in person. He was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, personable, and responsive. He seemed to genuinely care about my needs as his customer, and went above and beyond expectations from a communication and availability perspective. Chris worked with the transportation company paid to pick up and deliver my vehicle, and kept me informed along the way. The vehicle showed up on time and without any major surprises. I did not want to stop what I was doing to drive 2 hours roundtrip for no reason as I knew my car is perfectly fine and I just wanted to get it sold. He assured me that as long as everything checked out then that cash offer would be honored. I drove my car in on Friday and when they finally looked at the car, Curt came back into the dealership and told me the car looks clean + we were good to go. I shook his hand and told them it was nice doing business with them. I told him that I would be back on Monday with someone so I would have a ride back home and he said that is fine. It is Monday at 9:53 AM and I just received a text from Curt saying that his manager doesn't want to buy the car. Yet, he still proceeded to offer me a lower number. First of all, if you DONT want to buy the car, why are you going back on the original price to offer me anything at all? Second, if you and your team's appraisal of the car does not mean anything, why didn't you have me bring the car when your general manager was in then? I notified you I was coming from a far distance and did not want to come for no reason. I never really take the time to type reviews but Curt and Davis Honda really wasted my time when they did not have to. I called in advance to avoid this and they still went back on their word. I would not recommend you try and sell a car to this dealership. They will waste your time and lowball you. More
The people were amazing to work with. they had drinks, snacks, and doughnuts from a local bakery available while we waited for our new car to be detailed and ready. My only problem is that the car wasn’t actually “detailed” the console screen was greasy and there was dirt in the car. It wasn’t awful but we were expecting it to be detailed so we were surprised when it was still dirty. They also paid for a full tank of gas More
