I went to get a normal annual oil change and everything was great until I got home and I notice the Driver side of my hood was raised as if it was not closed properly, and was not aligned with the Passenge was great until I got home and I notice the Driver side of my hood was raised as if it was not closed properly, and was not aligned with the Passenger side. I called ahead before booking my appointment to make sure there would be a loaner vehicle for me to utilize while my car was being serviced. i was told on the phone “no problem at all”. i show up to my appoi there would be a loaner vehicle for me to utilize while my car was being serviced. i was told on the phone “no problem at all”. i show up to my appointment and was told that i could NOT get a loaner vehicle because i was “only getting maintenance work” and that there were “no loaner vehicles available anyway”. i asked why no one called me since it was clearly marked in the notes for my appointment.. i got no answer. i was told “maintenance work only takes 1-1.5 hours so no loaner vehicle was offered”. after struggling to find a ride, i agreed to leave my car for servicing and then was asked “do you need your car back by a specific time or is 3pm okay?” my appointment was for 930AM and i was just told loaner vehicles are not offered as the work would only take 1-1.5 hours and THEN was asked to surrender my car for SIX HOURS. completely unacceptable. i was livid. the icing on the cake was my husband called TWICE throughout the day to check to see if it was done because we received no update and the woman who answered the phone told us someone would call us back with an update because everyone was “busy”. I did not receive a call until 545PM to tell me my car was finished which resulted in me having to leave my car overnight since i have small children and by 6pm it’s prime dinner time followed by bed time. My lease is over next december and we had plans to update to an MDX but after the experience i’ve had with servicing and the financial department previously, we will absolutely not be continuing our time with Acura. Bob Diaz was the service attendant assigned to my appt but was not the man at the front desk that checked me in. the only time i heard from above was when he called to tell me my car was finished. More
