Been having some trouble all of a sudden with breaking down in parking lots on a new 2020 tlx and the battery dying but when pulling the car in for inspection , other maintenance and dealing with the batt down in parking lots on a new 2020 tlx and the battery dying but when pulling the car in for inspection , other maintenance and dealing with the battery or charger/hookup like starter i have been sent home with faulty vehicle which dies again and has to be towed or jumped again. The process appears to require the car breaking in the service bay to get parts replaced under the warranty. I am not sure the car is fixed yet as we go from this has to break in service bay before the starter and alternator are checked. I think when a newer car is losing a charge more than once the whole process should be audited to save the customer hardship and time. If the car is dying and the battery reads ok after its jumped well why is it dying then ? That part was not dealt with at the service bay upfront or now. . Killing a week of customers time with no car and possibly still not being fixed, only time will tell. If you lose two batteries in two years then maybe the starter is faulty or something else but so far the something else has not been dealt with in any way. Also, when out on the road to try and get car fixed and broken down and freezing with my dog you need this fixed now. It was almost impossible to reach any service tech to answer phones , and at times i ask the sales staff to go find one to pick up phone. If authorization is needed to go further like check the starter or order that part a manager should be there and if he is out on vacation as was the case someone should be left in charge to relieve the service tech from pressure of having authority to do THE WHOLE JOB. When everyone is out to lunch and your in a parking lot freezing with the same faulty car waiting for help someone should be on the service desk answering phones for us. Customer should not have to call sales and ask them to go get someone in service on phone. More
