I brought my car in for a problem starting. They could not get it to replicate the issue so they claimed, and after a week asked me to pick up my car. The very next day I was stuck at 39th & They could not get it to replicate the issue so they claimed, and after a week asked me to pick up my car. The very next day I was stuck at 39th & Walnut St in Philadelphia having to repeatedly push to start my car until it started. I sent a video to the service writer, was told he was waiting for his manager to get back to him and that he would get back to me. Nobody got back to me yet! Since then, I have had numerous occasions of driving, parking, then getting back in to have my car not start up and need multiple attempts to start. This is not ideal since I am a realtor and take clients to multiple showings and my car is not reliable. I also work in two major university hospitals in not so great areas of the city and need a car that starts right up. I spoke with a mechanic elsewhere about my issue and he is pretty confident it is a dead spot in the starter and the starter just needs to get beyond the dead spot to start and that would explain why sometimes it doesn't start up right up but eventually does after multiple attempts, and that the starter should be replaced. This is not the first time I have taken my car to Davis for an issue and had to return multiple times for them to be able to diagnose and fix the problem. This is the main reason I do not chose Davis' service center. Also, I understand that warranty jobs don't make the shop the money that cash services do, but they are part of the job and customers under warranty shouldn't feel less important or brushed off, and that is exactly how I am treated when my cars are under warranty. I do love acuras and the certified pre owned program but I do not like Davis at all. When I was shopping for my car and came to Davis I was also not treated well, so I bought my car elsewhere. Davis definitely needs to do better. More
