This is by far the best experience I've ever had buying a car. My salesman was extremely knowledgeable and was very concerned about my needs. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to visit Davis car. My salesman was extremely knowledgeable and was very concerned about my needs. My visit at Davis was acceptable. I do not car shop very often so the entire time was stressful for me. A car is alot of money and nobody wants to make an error in judgement / decision. The saleman /GM / often so the entire time was stressful for me. A car is alot of money and nobody wants to make an error in judgement / decision. The saleman /GM / fiancial officer were very customer friendly. They need to understand I wanted the ABSOLUTE best / lowest price I could obtain. They need to realize the public is aware that even at invoice price, we know they still make a profit. More
I HAVE BOUGHT 4 CARS SO FAR FROM DAVIS ACURA. I RECENTLY STOPPED IN TO VISIT MY SALESMAN MATT TO LOOK AT THE 09 TL. I HAVE DEALT WITH MATT GILLESPIE ( MY SALESMAN) SINCE 2000. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED GRE STOPPED IN TO VISIT MY SALESMAN MATT TO LOOK AT THE 09 TL. I HAVE DEALT WITH MATT GILLESPIE ( MY SALESMAN) SINCE 2000. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED GREAT! MATT HAS ALWAYS GONE ABOVE & BEYOND. I ALSO HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. EVERY TIME MY CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE, THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN WHAT I EXPECTED. IF MY CAR NEEDED TO STAY OVERNIGHT, I WAS ALWAYS CALLED IN A TIMELY FASHION. I WAS ALWAYS CALLED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS OK TO PERFORM SOMETHING THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE THAT WASN'T ORIGINALLY ON MY SERVICE LIST. THE SERVICE MANAGER STEVE HAS ALWAYS BEEN READILY AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED AND THE DEPARTMENT HAS ALWAYS MANAGED TO GET THE CAR IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DEALER HAS BEEN GREAT. EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY AND SOMEONE ALWAYS ASKS IF THEY CAN HELP YOU. I HAVE WENT TO OTHER DEALERSHIPS TO CHECK OUT DIFFERENT CARS AND NEVER RECEIVED THE SAME SERVICE OR EXPERIENCE AS I HAVE HAD WITH DAVIS ACURA. I LOOK FORWARD TO PURCHASING A NEW CAR WITHIN RECENT MONTHS FROM MATT AGAIN!!! THANK YOU, ANNA G. More
I drove from So. NJ this morning to test drive an Acura the dealer had. My brother-in-law had spoken to a salesman on Friday and again on Saturday. This salesman was not in until 3PM today, so we asked a the dealer had. My brother-in-law had spoken to a salesman on Friday and again on Saturday. This salesman was not in until 3PM today, so we asked another salesman about the car, I even showed him the print out from their website. No one knew where the car was. The salesman proceeds to load us in a car and drive us to their other lot down US 1 - they could not find it there either. We drove back, the manager did not know where the car was & proceeded to get on the phone & try to find it. I then asked if they had any other cars with 4 doors & a standard transmission - THEY DID NOT KNOW! The salesman proceeds to take us to the lot & look into every car to see what the transmission was (and expected us to follow right along like a puppy). Where is the CUSTOMER SERVICE? I'm there to spend MY MONEY - NOT to do your job for you. YOU find the car & then come and get me! HOW IN THE WORLD DOES A CAR DEALER NOT KNOW WHAT HIS INVENTORY IS OR WHERE THE INVENTORY IS LOCATED???? I had read the reviews about this dealer so I was cautious but they had a car I was interested in. I have been car shopping about 2 months now and this is by far the MOST INEFFICIENT AND LUDICROUS OPERATION so far!!! How do you lose a car??? It not as though it is something small like a wallet or keys. This dealership should be embarrassed. More
I bought a Pre-Owned car from this dealership. I was told the car was recently traded-in for a new acura. I was shown a copy of the car's Carfax report, which showed that it was "clean." About six mon told the car was recently traded-in for a new acura. I was shown a copy of the car's Carfax report, which showed that it was "clean." About six months after taking it home, I took it in for an oil change. (yeah, I know it should have been sooner, but I don't drive alot of miles.) My mechanic called me and asked me, "Who had the accident?" Of course, I didn't know what accident he was talking about. The accident happened before I got it. Needless to say, I was not happy and drove out to Davis Acura to talk to the sales manager about it. I showed them the car. With it up on the lift, they could not deny that it was in an accident. On top of it all, even the repairs done on it were not very good. The car was missing one of the bolts that hold the engine down! My Subaru mechanic told me he had to special order the bolt, so when I took it back at Davis Acura the nut was still off. The shop at Davis Acura just threw some nut they had laying around onto the motor mount. This was despite the fact that I told them just to visually inspect the car, not to fix it. My Subaru mechanic told me he wanted re-hang the door as well as some other repairs. The sales manager assumed I wanted all of my money back immediately, but I assured him that i was reasonable. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't know that the car was in an accident. I know that it is indeed "buyer beware" and that my legal rights were limited. I thought I would give them the chance to make the situation better somehow. I was pretty opened minded and, again, aware that I had no right to sue them. How did they make it better? what did they offer me? Nothing. They stopped answering and returning my calls. It is not that short a drive to Davis Acura, so running there once a week was not on my agenda. They win, I gave up trying. I recently found out that the car does have an accident reported on Carfax. The accident is less than two weeks before Davis Acura shows up on the Carfax report. It wasn't just a fender bender, either. I don't know what they showed me when I bought the car, but I know it wasn't the most recent Carfax history available. There goes "the benefit of the doubt." These guys sold me a car with an accident, and represented it as a real car. If someone at that dealership actually took this car on a trade without knowing it was in an accident, he should have his eyes checked! My mechanic noticed it changing the oil and Davis told me the serviced the car. They got my money once, they'll never get another dime from me or anyone I know. Don't buy any car from Davis Acura. They seem real nice, but don't be fooled. They ripped me off and did nothing to make it right. These guys give the decent car dealers out there their bad reputation. Trust me, stay away from Davis Acura. More
I brought my car in for state insp (04 tl). they called later in the day saying it had failed because of a bent rim. I had just came back from a trip to Boston the car drove perfect. I went down to the dea later in the day saying it had failed because of a bent rim. I had just came back from a trip to Boston the car drove perfect. I went down to the dealer and asked to see the bent rim so he put it on the lift for me. The rim was bent on the inside very badly so I told him that I just got back from a trip and had no problems told me I hit a pot hole or something in the road.Needless to say I'm out 310.00 for a new rim. I suspect that when they pulled the car in to put it on the lift the rear tire hit the corner of the lift. Davis was an extremely good car dealer who became just another car dealer I'm sorry about that. More
