This is my first time in my life I am writing a review. I am not hiding from anyone and kindly leaving all my contact information. If anyone has any idea how to help me I would really appreciate. Also I real am not hiding from anyone and kindly leaving all my contact information. If anyone has any idea how to help me I would really appreciate. Also I really hope that my feedback might help someone to avoid a mistake I got when I started a business with this dealership. So, my e-mail is astikhilyas@adt.com and my cell is (917) 455-5774. My daughter got her driver license 1 month ago. My wife and I decided to purchase a car. Her first car. We did have couple reasons and we decided that the first one will be used, till she gets more experience… On November 1, we stopped at the above dealership and my question was: “This is x amount of money we have, I need something reliable and safe for my teenager daughter.” I was surprised that car I was recommended was $3500 dollars under amount we would like to spend. “However, there is a list of what need to be done to this car to make it PERFECT” said sales rep. Car was selling AS IS, but verbally sales rep guaranteed that motor and engine are perfect and after fixing those little things on the list it will be a GREAT BUY. Those” little things” to fix totaling $1155.00 I took a sales consultant word and made a purchase. Total price I paid for the car is $8.000. I am realistic person and understand that buying car AS IS makes me fully responsible for any brakes happened after purchase. However I thing that $8000.00 car shouldn’t give a head ache for couple years. If I am mistaken please tell me so. But it was a big surprise, that after 2 days after purchase and 20 miles total drive after sale was done – CHECK ENGINE light came on. I went to 2 different mechanics who stated that it is fuel pump. To replace it I needed to pay approximately $1200.00 due that the part (s) comes directly from VOLVO dealer. I took that car same week, Saturday, back to dealership. Sales rep said there is nothing he could do after sale, even though he knew that my daughter put no more then 30 miles and I brought it back in 5 days. He even denied that he sold me a car wwith hidden break. 2 mechanics stated that this break happened very before I purchsed this car. I mentioned before I am realistic person and wasn’t expecting get my money back. What I was looking for that management will find right solution to help me to resolve a problem. POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS BEWARE after I address problem: 1. Service department never called me back with the quote to fix fuel pump. 2. Sales Rep final words are: “there is nothing we could do here” Even did not make an attempt to contact management to help me to resolve an issue. 3. Both managers located in head quarters Dave and Ed never called me back as promised. 4. No apologies from anyone…….. On November 7, I took my car to local mechanic shop. Now is November 14 and it is still there. What a great purchase I made. Thanks for your advice, thanks for your help in resolving my problem, and thanks you for the worst experience ever. You can call me or e-mail me if you have any questions. More
Purchased a certified used 2008 RDX. Drove the car 5000 miles and took it in for first service. In excess of $400 in just 5000 miles and on top of that they tell me I need new tires. Davis Acura was so great. From the beginning of process, they have been professional, courteous, and helpful. They obtained the vehicle I was looking for from another dealer without hesitation. I have purchased 3 MDX's at Davis Acura in the last 4 years. They have very good deals, are fair and always have TOP Quality vehicles! All my MDX's were Davis and Acura Certified, I have never had anythi years. They have very good deals, are fair and always have TOP Quality vehicles! All my MDX's were Davis and Acura Certified, I have never had anything majorly wrong with any of my cars, a few instances when I did need service they were OUTSTANDING! I have owned an Infiniti G35 and the last vehicle before switching to an Acura was new 2005 Mercedes C230 leased. The service I have received in comparison to Mercedes and Infiniti are way above in value and overall experience, with Davis Acura's has been nothing short of GREAT. I strongly recommend anyone in the market for a top quality vehicle with an awesome service department to go to Davis Acura. Stephen Arbakov Yardley, Pa. BUYER BEWARE! Stay from Davis Acura. On July 15,2011, I signed a purchase agreement for a pre-owned Acura, however due to unforseen circumstances and just hours later, I requested cancellation of said purc signed a purchase agreement for a pre-owned Acura, however due to unforseen circumstances and just hours later, I requested cancellation of said purchase; that is, days before scheduled delivery. Notwithstanding these facts, since July 16, 2011, the staff at this dealership, in particular Ms.Aspromonti-Arch, Mr.Roche and Mr.Parrot have consistently lied, provided false statements and attempted to violate US Banking Privacy laws in an effort to keep a $2500.00 deposit posted on a US bank credit card. Now five days later, July 21,2011, after dozens of calls and unnecessary time in real hours, I still have not received a credit for the charge to the bank card. I can not imagine dealing with this staff and the integrity of the dealership if a more complicated issue arose; this especially since the simplest of all consumer transactions (charge credit) has been spitefully delayed under a false pretense. Even calls to Mr. Davis, the owner, to resolve this simple transaction have been ignored. So BUYER BEWARE and stay away from Davis Acura, I travelled to this dealer from NJ after reviewing an internet ad. Needless to say more, it was the worst consumer experience I have had in my 33 years history of buying new and used cars. More
This was our first visit to this dealership which we found on the internet while searching for the particular vehicle we wanted. The used car mgr Paul Parrott asked salesman Tirrone Lille to contact us found on the internet while searching for the particular vehicle we wanted. The used car mgr Paul Parrott asked salesman Tirrone Lille to contact us about a car he thought would meet our expectations. Mr. Lillie was very professional as he showed us this car and another, answered all our questions, went with us on an informative test drive, and was our go-between in final negotiations regarding price and terms. We completed the purchase on our first visit, and the time extended one hour past closing time as we completed the paperwork. We returned 2 days later to pick up the car after detailing etc. was finished. Mr. Lillie was not in that day and Jack Grimes was very patient and thorough showing us all the features in detail. Afterwards we needed a couple of small things (audio code, navi code, and navi manual) which Mr. Lillie promptly provided for us and mailed us the manual. Our overall experience at Davis Acura was very positive and we would not hesitate to recommend the dealership or return there ourselves. We asked Mr. Lillie if there was a way we could submit our review of his performance and he told us about dealerrater.com. More
Bob was great to work with. This was the smoothest vehicle purchase I've ever had. Davis has been doing the maintenance on our Tl for years and this was our first new car purchased at Davis. Davis Acura is the worst dealership I have ever had the displeasure to work with. My complaint is attributed to the lack of integrity and dishonesty demonstrated to me by sales manager, Ed Riley. displeasure to work with. My complaint is attributed to the lack of integrity and dishonesty demonstrated to me by sales manager, Ed Riley. When I purchased my RDX in 2008 I had outstanding credit and the sales staff couldn’t have been more attentive. My lease was running out this February and I was hoping to purchase another RDX. I went to the dealership and immediately asked to speak with the sales manager. I met Mr. Riley and told him I had concerns with my credit and instead of wasting a salesperson’s time by negotiating a deal I would much rather know from the get-go if I was even eligible for a loan. Disclosing this information to Mr. Riley before price negotiations hurt my bargaining ability. But, I don’t believe in wasting anyone’s time. Mr. Riley ran my credit and told he would get back to me with his findings the next business day after speaking with his finance group. A few days went by and I never heard from. I decided to call him for an update. He said to stop by. When I did, Mr. Riley did not have an answer for me. He looked around for the credit report I first filled out but couldn’t find. He assumed it was “probably” torn up. This is personal information that should have been handled more professionally. I asked if it was worth the time to run the credit again if he thought my chances of approval was low. He was fairly confident he could get me approved. He ran my credit and promised to get back to me within a day or two. I waited a week and never heard back from him. I called again and he said he hadn’t been able to reach the ‘right people’ to discus my financing situation. He needed another day or two and this time would definitely get back to me with an answer. Over a week went by and I never heard back from him. Aside from feeling discouraged and disrespected by Mr. Riley, I also felt like I was not worthy to purchase a vehicle from Davis Acura. Feeling deceived, I contacted Mr. Glenn Davis, general manager, and told him of my experience. He agreed with me that the dealership mistreated me. He assured he wanted to do right by me. A little later that day Mr. Riley called me and asked why I was so disappointed with him. He said he wanted to work with me and would have an answer for me later that day. He did call back and said he was in the room with the ‘big boss.’ He said all I needed to do for the loan approval was to provide him with documentation that I was disputing a negative charge on my credit report. Once in hand, Mr. Riley expressed he was confident there was a good chance I could get financing approval that same day. After much effort I was able to produce this information. I faxed the documentation to the dealership and called an hour later to confirm it was received. I waited for days and never heard back from Mr. Riley. I called Mr. Riley to find out why I did not hear from him. He said he never received the paperwork. I don’t see how that is possible because the dealership confirmed it was received. He asked I fax it to him again. I resent the information and never heard back from Mr. Riley. No doubt all the positive reviews left by people on this board must have had excellent credit. There’s nothing shameful these days with having less than perfect credit. Everyone should be treated fairly and equally no matter what their credit situation is. It’s at the bank’s discretion to deny financing approval if the set guidelines are not met. However, it’s deceptive business practice if a dealership misrepresents and misleads a potential customer of their financing approval status. In the end, the dealership has a lot of pull with banks to approve or disprove someone for a loan. If Davis wanted to sell me a car they would have done so the first week that I walked in. I decided to write a letter to Mr. Glenn Davis to express my dissatisfaction with the dealership for treating a returning customer with such disregard and disrespect. I never heard back from Mr. Glenn Davis. More
Davis Acura was a great dealership to work with. I had originally gone to the acura dealership in Ardmore, PA which was not as friendly, I had to find a dealer, the dealer was not knowledgable, and they w originally gone to the acura dealership in Ardmore, PA which was not as friendly, I had to find a dealer, the dealer was not knowledgable, and they were not willing to negotiate price. When I went to Davis Acura it was a whole other experience and I was greeted when I walked in the door, and they were fair with price. The dealer was very knowledgable about the product and was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this dealership and dealer to others in the market for an Acura car. More
