My wife and I had been interested in a new (used) car for over a month. We finally had a weekend free (President's Day weekend), which we could come to Davis to see their inventory of used Acuras. No sooner were we getting out of our car then we were greeted by Mario. He asked if we knew what we were looking for, had anything in mind, and/or if there were any must haves in the new car we were looking for. We were very pleased to feel comfortable with Mario right from the start, it definitely didn't feel like the other sales experiences we previously had. The buying experience benefited from the inventory offered at Davis and Mario's patience (I was likely his most discerning and detailed oriented customers all day). As we browsed the lot, Mario was able to answer and address any questions and/or issues we had. He was able to help us narrow down our choices to the car we truly wanted and most of all what our family needed (safety). We purchased a used RL with SH-AWD and navigation system. He reviewed all the features and details with us, even to the point where he knew where to find the color code on the door jam. When we went to discuss price, Mario was honest and forthcoming. I thought this would have been the point where he would have lost points with us; however, we were happy to be wrong. I tend to be more of a skeptical buyer and must say that I was pleasantly pleased to purchase a car from Mario and will look forward to both becoming a repeat customer of his and recommending him to family, friends, and colleagues. We enjoyed our experience so much that we had contemplated inviting him to have dinner with us, being as we were there so late and he was with us the whole time, even through dinner time. Despite wanting to ask him, my wife pointed out that I would likely be viewed as weird and creepy. Our overall buying experience was more than positive and the Davis family of dealerships should be commended on their ability to attract personable and professional salesmen of the top caliber. Davis Acura should be pleased to know that they are represented by individuals like Mario. More

Total experience was terrific! Mike was easy to work with and very helpful. He spent several hours personally working on the car to make sure it was in the best shape for delivery. They explained all aspects of their offering but immediately backed off if I was not interested. The service department was also very friendly. As a result of Hurricane Sandy, finding an IDEAL replacement auto for once lost in the storm is not easy. I knew what I wanted to replace the 2011 Acura TSX that I purchased as a CPO vehicle in Augu replacement auto for once lost in the storm is not easy. I knew what I wanted to replace the 2011 Acura TSX that I purchased as a CPO vehicle in August this year, and that I owned for all of about 70 days. If you were OK with unwanted colors or no technology package or a manual transmission, there were vehicels to be had. But Davis had the exact car I wanted. Black, Tech Pkg, Automatic, Ultra-low miles. But it was a 2012 and the insurance company paid me for a 2011 so my budget was tight. I visited the Davis CPO showroom on 11/24. I met Ken and we went for a test drive. As expected for a vehicle with 7,000 miles, the car was perfect. In fact, it had never been titled. But we were unable to (during the initial visit) meet my price point. My wife and I left reluctantly. On Monday, 11/26, I chatted on-line with Tim, and told him that I really wanted the car, but I needed a bit more of a discount than they were willing to agree to on Saturday. He immediately reached out to his sales manager and called me back with the good news - we had a deal. But here is the best part. I had a negotiated a deal with a NJ dealer. The NJ dealer wanted $400 for doc fees AND another $100 "detailing fee". Are you kidding ??? The doc fee at Davis was around $100, plus NJ transfer fee, and the car was perfectly detailed when I picked it up. Davis did a great deal for me, and the car has been a dream. I will definitely be going back again... More
