Larry was very patient while I gave him the specs of what I was looking for over the phone, and his knowledge of the Toyota procucts was very evident. There are so many different packages to choose from, and although what I wanted was not on the lot, he knew what I wanted had just come in on the truck! Larry immediately got the process rolling to have the truck ready for me to test drive when we arrived at the dealer. Very impressive! In the finalization of our purchase, Sam (last name?) was very efficient and explained the warranty packages. Sam shared his own experience being a Tacoma owner, and was very genuine, we felt very comfortable and absolutely no pressure to purchase a warranty, and yet, we did :) Our experience purchasing this vehicle was very simple, stress free and eventhough we live over 100 miles away, we would definitely return to Fletcher Jones for any future service or purchase. Based on several experiences akin to pulling teeth through your nose with buying cars from dealers, I was naturally reluctant to want to be put through the meat grinder once again, but I finally made through your nose with buying cars from dealers, I was naturally reluctant to want to be put through the meat grinder once again, but I finally made up my mind and used Edmunds bidding service to start the process-- Although I clearly stated I was going to purchase a new vehicle in 24 hours, I got a few cursory bids, but the one person who followed up appropriately and stuck to my request for email contact only until I was ready, was Larry- He kept the process going and literally was the only person who followed up- amazing-- a qualified buyer standing in front of 3 local dealers who weren't paying attention (except 1 who got the sale!) When I came onsite, Larry was very courteous and we got the purchase started... It was a little scattered at first and took a bit longer than either of us hoped due to some snafu's with the keys and the 19 miles he had to run- but in the end, it all worked out- If any dealer would figure out how to get a buyer in and out in less than an hour without any hassles, they'd all be earning 7 figures... But alas, I'm a very cynical car buyer who can't stand the process, but I will say this dealership and Larry got it right-- I'd even go back and do it again with them.. Best experience I had with a car dealership ever! I had my price set with St George Utah Toyota dealership and was ready to travel 2 hours and bring it back. But Fletcher Jones Toyota actually beat their price! I didn't have to fight and haggle for 5 hours like Findley Toyota and be charged all kinds of garbage fees and a overpriced warranty insurance. After dealing with Fletcher Jones, I realized how much I got ripped off from Findley Toyota last year when I bought my Prius there. Along with the long waiting times at Findley, I will do my business at Fletcher Jones from now on. Love the way Fletcher preps the car and parks it in the showroom so it stays cool inside! I left Larry a message to let him know I had purchased a car already to save him the trouble. He called back on Monday, obviously upset with me, trying to inform me he could have transferred the vehicle. While the return called seemed less professional, I admit I would have rather dealt Larry than Dante at Desert Toyota Scion. More
After a disappointing visit to Findlay Toyota I called Fletcher Jones Toyota. I'd had a good experience with Fletcher Jones doing body work on my 2006 Toyota Prius after an accident. I had a date expired prepaid service coupon for my 55,000 mile service on my Prius, which was an oil change and rotating tires. I didn't need that because I'd just had it done at Costco. I called Fletcher Jones to see if they would give me a discount given my prepaid coupon. I spoke to Andrea Ruggles and after she checked with the service manager, told me that they would do the work for half price, around $25. I made an appointment, went in and was greeted by Andrea and introduced to the service advisor who would be helping me. At Findlay Toyota, they overfilled my oil 80% of the time, so I mentioned that to the service advisor who assured me that they would not overfill it. The dealership is pleasant and my car was done in an hour. It had been washed and when I checked, the oil had not been overfilled. Fletcher Jones has a new customer. I will never go back to Findlay. Needless to say I was stressed not knowing the area so I look online for a Toyota dealership and found Fletcher Jones. I chose this one based on other reviews and it wasn't far from where I was staying so that was a plus. Scott Gafforini met me at my truck the second I pulled into the bay and diagnosed the noise before I turned off the igniton. I had no appt. and he assured me they could get me fixed and out the door the same day. I cannot tell you the relief I felt, from that moment on I knew I was in good hands. True to his word he had it fixed before days end and I was back on the road enjoying my vacation. I even found out some things about my truck the dealer I bought it from didn't tell me. It was a great experience and I can't thank you enough for the service I received, my stress was immediately relieved. If I lived in the area I wouldn't go anywhere else. We stopped bringing our Lexus to the local dealership, and instead have been bringing it to Fletcher-Jones Toyota. It's a much longer drive for us (over 20 miles), but there's one reason we do it: Chad J and instead have been bringing it to Fletcher-Jones Toyota. It's a much longer drive for us (over 20 miles), but there's one reason we do it: Chad Julius. He is the most friendly, laid-back guy to work with, and he always carefully explains what needs to be done and why. We've been bringing Toyotas to him for years, and when he said Fletcher-Jones would begin acceping the Lexus, we jumped at the chance. (The Lexus dealership is all about pomp and circumstance, but it's all show and no substance.) The rest of the Fletcher-Jones team is likewise great to work with, and the maintenance staff is always willing to go the extra mile to repair things like untoward rattles that are hard to find. They're happy to ride with us to find what we're talking about. Chad and his "partners in crime" at Fletcher Jones bring in business, pure and simple. This was a very expensive service call (90,000 miles), but even that felt painless (kind of) thanks to the way we were treated. And I'm fairly certain it was less expensive than Lexus would have been ... without the overlay of trying to make you feel important when you get the feeling, deep down, the Lexus dealership thinks all Lexus owners are pompous idiots. I did an online price quote and Tony Gatto of Fletcher-Jones responded. Since the vehicle with the options we wanted was not available at the dealership and since we had a particular time frame in which we wanted it, we went to see Tony. He carefully surveyed incoming but not landed vehicles and found several other dealers that he could potentially make a trade with. The first turned him down, but he quickly made the trade with the next and the vehicle was to our exact specifications including color and options. The car arrived a few weeks after and we arrived at the dealer to pick it up. Tony thoroughly went over all the things we needed to know, gave us to the financial guy and then back to Tony who filled it up with gas and sent us on our way. All in all, it was a very good experience and if anyone should be interested in a Toyota, I'd strongly recommend that they see Tony at Fletcher-Jones. More
