Bait and Switched -- BUYER BEWARE !! BAIT AND SWITCH -- BUYER BEWARE!! Don't do it! Sadly, we fell for Ted Piper's "bait and switch" We negotiated in good faith for a 2016 RAV 4 XL BAIT AND SWITCH -- BUYER BEWARE!! Don't do it! Sadly, we fell for Ted Piper's "bait and switch" We negotiated in good faith for a 2016 RAV 4 XLE with Convenience Package, for an OTD price of $28,195. The second highest was AutoNation Toyota Las Vegas for only $100 more. We were calling from California, and helping a friend in Las Vegas. Our Las Vegas friend does not speak English very well, and comes form a country which does not question those in authority (this is an important fact). After several conversations, Ted confirmed the pricing specifics by email. When the time came to purchase the car, all our friend had to do was to fill out the paperwork, and drive away with the car. It was only later that we realized that the car she drove off with DID NOT HAVE the Convenience Package (list approx $2.1K). When asked why he would sell us a car without the Convenience Package when ALL of our conversations clearly specified this requirement, Ted's response, to say the least, was unsatisfactory. Foolishly thinking he was still "a nice guy", we wanted to undo the purchase and get the car originally intended with the Convenience Package. Ted said this was doable. Ted then proceeding to exercise us by getting us to have AutoNation confirm in writing that their low pricing was valid. Making us believe that he would still do right by us, we did so. Ted still kept stringing us along, and after lots of conversations, and giving Ted the multitude of information he requested, he finally admitted that he wouldn't do anything for us. Ted baited and switched product on us, strung us along afterwards, and had no intention of doing right by us. SO STAY AWAY. These guys are classic car dealer xxxxxxxx! More
Worst dealer ever/don't go here I have been with Toyota for 7 years this dealer was the best when it was fletcher jones Toyota everyone was about helping and giving the best deals po I have been with Toyota for 7 years this dealer was the best when it was fletcher jones Toyota everyone was about helping and giving the best deals possible and now they are for each other ( David Wilson Toyota) service is horrible. Bought a highlander from them and it has given me the worst problems and head aches ever... I brought it up to the financial service manager sal and his best offer was buying the car of me and selling me another one.. I only owe 18,000. On it now and he want to sell me a 2015 used certified for 35,000-50,000. No way I will rather keep mine but just fix it if I wanted a bad car I should of just bought it of the street.. If you decide of buying a car don't come here go to centennial or anywhere else but here.. I also got the platinum warranty supposably its bumper to bumper and now they tell me some stuff are not cover... Worst deal ever...Rob Hamp also seemed annoyed seams like he doesn't want to help anyone out. Like I said they are all for each other. He was looking at his computer at stories on yahoo. Not even paying attention to us... Need better staff and not lazy employees . More

The last 3 have been from Internet Sales curren I have been a loyal Toyota owner since 1990. I am proud to say, I have just purchased my 8th Toyota. The last 3 have been from Internet Sales currently led by Ted Piper. I have been described as a bit of a collector of the unique limited edition vehicles. DWT has been instrumental in catering to my needs, latest acquisition being a 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro. I cannot thank Oswaldo Hernandez enough for his dedication in making my purchase a stress-free experience at least for me. From my initial request to final delivery "Oz" constantly kept me updated on the progress of my order. I can be very demanding at times but, Oswaldo was always there for me. Ted Piper, Oswaldo Hernandez in Sales, Sam Upton in Finance, Sarah Kilby in Customer Relations, Mike McDermott in Service and Alberto Martinez in Parts are all professionals dedicated to making the customer experience a positive one. The Toyota brand along with this "winning team" is why I keep returning. I sincerely hope these comments will help recognize these individuals and this dealership for their achievements. More
No Accountability While shopping for a new truck, I contacted every Toyota store in town, requesting lease quotes on a Tundra in writing, via email. I emailed Dave Wils While shopping for a new truck, I contacted every Toyota store in town, requesting lease quotes on a Tundra in writing, via email. I emailed Dave Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas on a white 6 passenger Tundra that met my needs. Anthony Davis called me, left a very annoying message about how he's not liked by management and could get me helped quickly, if I'd stop by. I emailed back, with details about the Toyota advertised Tundra lease and asked Anthony to email me a quote, with a breakdown that matches the advertised lease, discount, rebate, and payment, on the white 6 passenger Tundra. He called me, then emailed me, telling me what I wanted to hear saying that $399 down and $399 was no problem and pressed for an appointment again. I asked, again, for a lease breakdown with disclosure of the money factor, residual and fees. He admitted he couldn't do that, and I need to show up in person to get a lease quote (interesting fact, every Toyota dealership in town gave me what I asked for in my first email without a hassle, except Dave Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas). Anthony told me his manager, Ted Piper, would contact me promptly before 5pm the same day. Two days later, I didn't get an email from Ted Piper as promised. I email Ted, expressed my disappointment with him for his failure to respond, and asked for a lease breakdown on the white 6 passenger Tundra in stock, and on the lease special. I assured him about my interest, and that I have a huge network of friends, thus making me a reliable source of referrals (I send no less than 15 customers to various dealerships every month). Ted emailed me saying, he decided not to give me a quote because I might give them a bad survey after the sale, and they don't need my business. Alarmed, I emailed Toyota Customer Service direct, to make them aware of this potential customer service issue. I received an email from Toyota, explaining that the general manager would reach out to me directly about my experience. A few days later, Dave Wilson Toyota's customer relations manager, Sarah Kilby, promptly emailed me, very apologetic about my experience, promising me Scott Redden is "committed to rectify the situation, and has already called me and left several messages." Scott Redden might have called, but I'll never know because he left no messages, nor did he directly email me or apologize for how his employees handled this situation. He did, however, have Sarah offer me a lease quote on a red 5 passenger Tundra, because, over the course of the last 10 days, they sold the Tundra that met my needs to someone else. Ten day, over a dozen emails, and I finally get an email, with a lease breakdown. Wow! Bottom line, I bought at another Toyota dealership (no surprise) and gave the selling dealer a perfect survey (because they earned it). At the time of this email, I have referred 22 customers to my new favorite Toyota dealership, and it's not Dave Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas. Ted Piper, and Scott Redden, here's the survey you deserve; too bad Toyota Motor Company will never know, but maybe potential future customers will read this and think twice, but who knows. Fact...every Toyota store in Las Vegas is outselling Dave Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas, and the reason is clear...Scott, when you and your staff manifest shortcomings, rather than take accountability, you're tossing out the customer in fear of a bad survey. This is a foolish prideful game your playing, and Toyota needs to know about it (they probably already do; lowest sales numbers in town tell the story). Oh, and Scott Redden, if you're going to have an employee other than yourself take the responsibility of a general manager, then just step down. Best of luck to you. Kindest possible regards, Ez More

The jetBlue of Car-Buying Experience Frustrated with a search of not finding a black 2016 Toyota RAV4 XLE in SoCal, I started to look at Las Vegas. Didn’t want to be on the two-month wait Frustrated with a search of not finding a black 2016 Toyota RAV4 XLE in SoCal, I started to look at Las Vegas. Didn’t want to be on the two-month waiting list for a new vehicle from the local dealerships with the baby coming soon, real soon. Contacted David Wilson’s Toyota of Las Vegas via Edmunds.com and Ted Piper from their internet department contacted me first thing in the morning. Once all the numbers were agreed upon, Ted Fedexed the paperwork over, I then booked a jetBlue flight to Vegas. They even picked me up at the airport. How great is that!? After they showed me some of the features of the new RAV4, I grabbed a Double-Double burger from In-N-Out and headed straight home with my brand new car. David Wilson’s Toyota of Las Vegas is the jetBlue of car dealership. These guys were honest and straightforward; transaction was smooth, easy and as described. I’ve been purchasing a new Toyota every five years and would definitely come back to David Wilson’s again. This is by far my best car-buying experience ever. Their prices cannot be beat, much better than Costco, AAA, Credit Union or anywhere else. If you’d like the best price and customer service without the games, contact Toyota of Las Vegas. Thank you, Ted and Han for a wonderful car-buying experience! You guys rock! James More
