Toyota 4Runner I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota 4Runner from David Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas. This was my first time purchasing a new car. Mr. Oswaldo Hernandez I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota 4Runner from David Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas. This was my first time purchasing a new car. Mr. Oswaldo Hernandez was my sales representative. He was very patient and very knowledgeable about the Toyota product line and the stores current inventory. He helped guide my decision based on my needs and wants. I also interacted with Mr. Frank Sanchez as he was the sales manager in charge of my deal. Both Mr. Sanchez and Mr. Hernandez were very personable and friendly. I highly recommend this dealership if you're in the market for a Toyota. They were a little out of the way for me, but it was worth it. As an aside, the lobby area was very nice and well maintained. It was hot outside and they offered everyone free waters. Once again I highly recommend this Toyota! More
Horrible experience with service department David Wilson Toyota My complaint is with your service department and the service advisor Sam Barajas. I own a 2011 (6 y.o) Toyota Prius that h David Wilson Toyota My complaint is with your service department and the service advisor Sam Barajas. I own a 2011 (6 y.o) Toyota Prius that has roughly 59,000 miles on it at the time. I drove into Vegas on a trip and my "service hybrid system" light came on. I needed an oil change anyways so I took it by Midas and ask them what the warning light that came on meant and they hooked it up and did a quick diagnostic for codes (free) and told me that it was my hybrid battery inverter that was possibly defective and they referred me to Toyota dealership because it was most likely covered under warranty, so the next day I took my car to David Wilson Toyota and spoke to Sam Barajas. Sam ran my VIN number and told me there were no parts recalled on my vehicle. They ran a 130$ diagnostic and in fact told me that it was the hybrid battery inverter that was possibly defective and was NOT covered under warranty. He told me they would have to take the inverter apart to get a closer look and just to take it apart it's $500 and if the part was proven to be defective the dealership might go in half with me on the cost if proven defective. So I already spent my last 130$ for Diagnostic and he's asking for $500 to take it apart and look at it not including what it's going to cost to repair?! I simply do not have that kind of money in my pocket so I declined to take it apart. I'm over 300 miles from home LA* The car is running fine, he said he wouldn't try driving it but he'd never heard of a hybrid shutting off because of it but he not saying that it wont... So at this point, I decided to get in my car and drive it back to California stressed out thinking, I'll get it as close to home as possible, the less miles I have to pay in Towing it if it does shut off. Once I get back in town I'm calling around to different places and everyone was so confused why my car wasn't covered under warranty being 6 years old and under 60000 miles..... the last guy I talked to told me to try my luck at a dealership close by my house. So I call DCH Toyota in Torrance California gave them my VIN number and they told me that my car WAS COVERED under warranty And they asked me to bring it in for Diagnostic running the same VIN number and codes previously ran in Vegas and my car was in fact covered with Toyota under the warranty and DCH Toyota in Torrance California serviced and repaired my vehicle FREE of charge and NO charge for the diagnostic!!!! And they never even mentioned charging me to take it apart first lol So what happened in David Wilson Toyota in vegas?! Tell me why your service department was trying to scare me and take my last bit of money from me knowing I'm 300+ miles from home scared and stressed out. Unbelievable. I want answers and I want my diagnostic money back the car could have easily been fixed in Vegas instead of wasting an entire day of my time trying to scam me for money because I'm a stupid female who doesn't know anything about cars!! Shame on you guys.... I will be reposting this review everywhere and report you to Better Business Bureau. More
