TARA in Service @ Ellisville TO THE RESCUE! !.... Purchased from Belleville IL location - less than a week & less than 150 miles my check engine light pops on....Well they are over an hour aw !.... Purchased from Belleville IL location - less than a week & less than 150 miles my check engine light pops on....Well they are over an hour away so I immediately took it down the road to the other dealership location. It was diagnosed as thermostat & oil leak. Get this - Belleville Salesman tells me "same dealership name, but doesn't share the money." Basically does everything to not help me in this situation - even though would logically think engine temperature would be vital with "power train." Of course he says I should of purchased service agreement. I could go on about this disappointing buying experience, which ironically - he wouldn't even let me negotiate tires, windshield, or floor matts due to fear of bank approval being revoked. So adding this unknown price of a luxury after excitement of getting approved wouldn't of been an option. Anyways, a Big multi location Dealership like Dave Taylor is in business because of people like TARA in service who Does the Right Thing!! She has to deliver the horrifying emotional news of car trouble everyday to people, and for her to notice my reasonable situation and bring it up to the GM is going above and beyond with care. Not only she fix check engine light issues - she Stood Behind the vehicle with confidence so much she got the safety & emissions inspections taken care of for registration. She deserves the commission on this vehicle, because I am now a Proud & Happy Car Buyer from a big dealership! More
