I told him I was considering a Honda Pilot but wanted to check out the new Cherokee. Black or white “loaded” I told him. Almost instantaneously he found a Cherokee Limited in Pacific. We talked pricing for quite a while and, by the next day, I had a really great deal on what would be my eighth Jeep. Mark Winstead, the GM, was also a great influence in helping me make the deal. I bought my last Jeep at Royal Gate, now this one, and I’m sure the next one as well!!! I can’t say enough good things about the folks at Royal Gate!!! In short, they’re the best there is!!! More
Will kick you when you're down We purchased a new 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan in April 2017. It ended up being a complete lemon. The engine was repaired at 800 miles, replaced at 120 We purchased a new 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan in April 2017. It ended up being a complete lemon. The engine was repaired at 800 miles, replaced at 1200, wires were pinched preventing operation of the backup camera and rear a/c, and the shocks installed were incorrect and had to be replaced. We went round and round with an executive with Dodge in Detroit, trying to have the vehicle bought back. We had the van in the shop so much, that we even were given the exact same rental twice. The experience has been exhausting and stressful. Finally, the executive at Dodge agreed to buy our vehicle back. We promptly returned to Royal Gate and saw our previous salesman, Ted. Ted immediately located our exact vehicle in a different color. Then he went away as salesmen do, to the dreaded office. Some time later, some guy in a suit emerges with a piece of paper that had figures on it. First red flag, as a buy back should cost zero. Mr. Suit tells us that a buy back is a horrible experience. Even though Dodge quoted us a time of 3-4 weeks, it will take double that amount of time, attorneys will be involved, and the Dodge executive doesn't really know how the process works. However, there at Royal Gate they are all about customer service, so they have a deal for us. Second red flag. Mr. Suit tells us Royal Gate will bypass the buy back process with Detroit. Royal Gate will take our lemon vehicle as a trade and we will refinance the entire deal. And, because the folks at Royal Gate are such good guys, they even know that this deal will save us $20 a month. Except, we are much smarter than that. The vans were the exact same price and we have been paying on a loan since June. Royal Gate is offering to rework a deal, meaning we get no credit for the $4500 in payments we have made. A buy back keeps your loan amount the same; it's not reworked unless you choose a more expensive vehicle. Not to mention, Royal Gate shouldn't want our vehicle as trade. It's faulty. Mr. Suit said it was simply an oversight and they didn't think it through. He admitted the deal would cost us money. I called him out on just wanting a sale on the book that day instead of waiting for the buy back. We went to another local dealership to see if it would be handled the same way. They came out with a 2018 replacement vehicle, told us they would handle everything, a buy back was no problem at all, and gave us a rental car to drive. They are refinancing what we owe and got us a better rate. To top it off, the entire buy back process should be completed this week; total time of 2 weeks. I'm disgusted with Royal Gate trying to take advantage of us after all we've been through. It's really the lowest thing you can do to a customer. More

Absolute worst of the worst dealership in St. Louis, MO I have been looking for a jeep wrangler unlimited JL ever since its announcement late November and I’ve been calling every dealership in the St. Louis I have been looking for a jeep wrangler unlimited JL ever since its announcement late November and I’ve been calling every dealership in the St. Louis area for a couple months because I’ve been so excited to get one. During my search, I let every dealership know that whichever jeep dealer gets the jeep I want in first will earn my sale, they all were very understanding and nice, Except for Royal Gate of Ellisville, MO. The people at this dealership are all lying crooks that are only out to get the sale whether that car is the one you want or not. I went into this dealership and talked about the estimated time of arrival for the new JL wrangler and they told me on January 12th that it would be 1 to 3 weeks for delivery, which I thought was definitely understandable and they were able to find me a jeep of my specifications on their order list that would arrive in that time frame. I thought I could trust them so I placed a $500.00 deposit on that jeep, which was a black wrangler unlimited sport with a manual transmission. I thought everything was going great until the next day, when I get a call from the dealership saying that the one I had put a deposit on was ordered wrong and that the next jeep that would come in would take 30 to 60 days, and no later than march, which is ridiculous. I called the dealership 4 days after that call and let them know that I wanted to go with a different dealership that got the jeep I wanted earlier than expected and for my deposit to be refunded to my credit card, this is when xxxx hit the fan so to speak. They immediately were trying to manipulate me and convince me to change my mind and were repeatedly asking me about other dealerships I have been talking too like it was a crime to shop anywhere else. I got so fed up with these people but I continued to be nice and eventually I had to leave because the general manager wasn’t in the building to authorize the refund. I thought that was weird that he had to be there to refund my deposit considering they gave my credit card to the receptionist to take the 500 dollars from me, very shady. so ever since then Ive been trying to contact them every day but everyone is somehow always busy, and the receptionist for the manager was extremely rude and even hung up on me in the middle of a conversation with her. I have reported it to my bank as fraud and reported this dealership to the better business bureau (BBB) and will seek a lawyer if this persists. P.S. I bought my jeep from Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and they were phenomenal, and it turns out that I was the first JL purchase in Missouri which is pretty neat. They had knowledgable professional staff who worked hard to find me the jeep I wanted and helped me get the best financing possible. They were not rude and cared about what I needed in my next vehicle purchase. I will NEVER EVER go to Royal Gate Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for anything, whether it be sales, parts or service again. Literally anyone else is better than these jerks. Future car buyers stay away! More

Vehicle Purchase I found the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited online and contacted the Internet Sales Manager. We agreed on a price and arrived the next day to purchase. We worked with Ted Gann to finalize the deal and it went off without a hitch. I would recommend Royal Gate and Ted and we will definitely consider Royal Gate when looking for another vehicle. More
