Appreciate the oil change package offered. Need to pay a little better attention to the tire inflation after rotation. I shouldn’t have to pump the rear tires up to 80 psi and reduce the fronts to 65 psi. More

I am sorry that you felt your service/sales visit was not as was to be as expected by you. The transmission was pressure tested, test driven, visually inspected and found to be in good condition. We could not perform repairs on something operating as designed. Engines will have oil sepage that does accumulate over years of use and the Jeep Wrangler your purchased was ten years old and would have this. Aluminum engines all have some type of sepage and it is cost prohibited to try and reseal every one, especially older ones. Hopefully this helps in the understanding of what took place with your vehicle. Mark Terschluse

"Cost Prohibitive" you say.... Paying full retail price for a vehicle that immediately needed: >Front and rear axle seals due to leakage >Oil pan gasket due to oil puddling on garage floor >PCM/Engine computer due to engine warning/low oil pressure warning. >Broken pieces of internal transmission components in trans pan Not to mention the "repair" items I knew about at time pf purchase which I knowingly accepted, specifically: >Needed new tires >Needed new brakes >Needed new paint (severe peeling/UV damage) I think you need to gain a better understanding of Illinois law 815 ILCS 505/2: "An implied warranty of merchantability is met if a used motor vehicle functions free of a defect in a power train component. As used in this Section, "power train component" means the engine block, head, all internal engine parts, oil pan and gaskets, water pump, intake manifold, transmission, and all internal transmission parts, torque converter, drive shaft, universal joints, rear axle and all rear axle internal parts, and rear wheel bearings." I've replaced wheel bearings/seals and engine gaskets at my expense; statutory warranty items went unresolved by your dealership (oil leaks and internal transmission parts). When a customer pays full retail price there is an expectation that the vehicle is conditioned for retail sale....otherwise I'd take my chances on craigslist. I can not give a positive review of my experience due to poor customer service and your failure to honor the basic statutory warranty guaranteed by the sales contract and Illinois law.
