They made the car buying experience a delight (as it should be). I came to Oliver C. Joseph 2 weeks into my search for a new car. I was very discouraged after dealing with a few other dealerships who shrugged me off, treated me as if I didn't matter, and weren't very willing to help me get into the car I wanted. That was not the case here, from the moment I contacted them they were eager to help me and within 24 hours of contacting them I was driving off the lot in my dream Charger. I'm so thankful for them! We weren't originally going to buy a car. We had a 2004 Dodge Neon that died and had it towed. It was going to cost more to fix the car than it was worth so we decided to get another car instead of puttin Dodge Neon that died and had it towed. We looked online and found a 2011 Jeep Patriot that we really liked. We got it for 16,900 and it only has 18k miles on it. Plus they gave us $600 for our Neon, which didn't even run. They had a very nice play room for the kids which made it much easier. Rodney was very nice to work with. He was not pushy and didn't seem fake. He let me and my husband test drive the vehicle by ourselves. We went through USAA and got pre-approved for a loan before we went to the dealership but from the service we got today I would trust their financing would've been good too. The atmosphere was very nice and friendly. I guess the owner is a train enthusiast and has a real train car set up and lots of train displays. We have 2 toddler boys who LOVE trains and Rodney took us into the area to look at the trains which the kids loved. We just bought the car so we can't really comment on that but after comparing the prices at other dealers we feel we got a great deal and love how our jeep drives. They even filled the tank completely up! Most dealers I've been to don't do that, and they will give us 1yr of free oil changes. Very pleased with this place and would recommend it. More

We had visited 2 ford dealers and 1 chevy and couldn't find a car or truck that we really wanted. We said that we were headed out for my sons birthday and didn't have time. He said just take it with and bring it back tommorrow.I fell over. We talked ,he told us about the car, gave us plates and off to dinner we went. I loved that he didn't pressure us. Just let us fall in love with the car on our own. When we brought it back we decided on a beautiful pearl red charger.They took care of the price for us. We meet Jeff and a couple other sales people all very friendly. We defintly were not planning on buying a car just then and I didn't think my husband would. He is a ford truck person. The next day we picked up the car.I met Brad the owner and found out he and his wife both do dog rescue's and fostering which is close to my heart which is fantastic and Ricardo in financing is a great single dad and very proud of his family also loves fishing and being on the lake which is one of my passions. Bryon our fantastic sales person has 4 beautiful girls. It's like we have known these guy's for years and they made it one of the best experince's I have ever had in buying a new car. They are right we felt like family very comfortable. I will send family and friends to OCJ for a car or truck.I work at a body shop so I talk to a lot of people that might be intrested in a vehicle and I will definetly tell them of our experience there and send them. It had been over ten years since we purchased a vehicle and my wife and I haven't enjoyed nor were we looking forward to dealing with a car salesman. However, Rodney was fantastic and made us feel like it was more important that we were happy than it was for him to sell a vehicle. We know he wanted to sell us a van, because he told us, but he wasn't pushy or false and didn't try to sell us anything we didn't want. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles he showed us and answered every question we had. If Rodney is still selling cars when we are ready for another one, he will be our first (and probably last) stop. And past experience with financial people has also been unpleasant and condescending. Our experience with Ricardo was neither of those. He was straightforward, honest, explained everything that we didn't understand (multiple times with some issues) and a pleasure to work with. My wife and I highly recommend both Rodney and Ricardo at Oliver C. Joseph in Belleville and will definitely call on them both again. More
