David Stanley Chevrolet - Service Center

Went in for the second time in two years for an electrical problem on the door locks of my truck. The first time it was under warranty and was fixed promptly. The second time I stopped in to see if it would be covered since it was the same problem. They notified me that it would not be covered under warranty and it would cost over $580.00 to fix. I called a friend of mine that works in a parts warehouse and bought the original parts for both doors for under $40.00. It took me 15 minutes to install them myself. I have never worked on door locks before and was shocked at the ease to replace them. I was even more shocked at what David Stanley was wanting to charge($125.00 per lock and over $300 to install) to put them in. Their little escapade just cost them the sale of a new vehicle and all future business. More
