Sevice Dept Fail. I've typically had good service here for my 2016 Dodge Journey, yesterday however was a different story. I took my car to the Service Dept because I've typically had good service here for my 2016 Dodge Journey, yesterday however was a different story. I took my car to the Service Dept because it was giving me a "No Key Detected" when the key was in the car, and the remote FOB would not work. I was able to start the car by pressing the Key fob against the start button. I handed off the car to Service along with an unprogrammed key FOB I received when I purchased the car (never had it programmed). The Service rep calls me a couple hors later to say "We checked the vehicle system and found no fault then tested the FOB and it failed, tried to reprogram the fob and it will not reprogram. Tried to program the spare fob and it will not reprgram either." I was told a replacement FOB would be $420 which seemed a little excessive, I figured I would shop around a little before commiting to that. I was charged $160 for the "diagnostic" that revealed my vehicle was fine and my FOBs were not programmable. After a few calls to locksmiths, I found a reasonable price and took my car to Okey Locksmiths. I hended them my key, and the first thing they did was replace the battery (company policy regardless of current battery status, use a KNOWN GOOD) and it worked. Just as a courtesy, they checked my other key fob and said it was programmable but it didn't have a battery in it at all. I've tried to contact the Service Director with no luck, I guess I'm out $160 and I likely will not return to David Stanley Dodge again. More

TERRIBLE! Wish zero stars was an option. Completely incompetent staff with no communication between departments let alone their own individual departments. Con Wish zero stars was an option. Constantly being nagged about filling out a survey (which we never received) and making promises they don't intend to follow through on let alone remember. Save yourself the headache it is not worth your time! No one will return your calls. They will setup appointments and then reschedule after you show up for the appointment. Awful experience all around from the sales staff to the terribly rude customer service "manager". So disappointing. More
