Disappointed we once again could not figure out why my Sierra is ‘hard shifting’ from 1st to 2d gear. The difference is at least this time our service dept rep (Nathan) was able to duplicate what I was experiencing. This is the second time I’ve had it in the shop in the last 3 months for the same problem and have seen no improvement. Been a loyal GM owner for 35 yrs, but this may be the last as it seems GMC can’t find anything wrong other than recommending to let the vehicle warm up. Sorry, but that’s not a fix only masking a problem. Also, if you tell a customer you’re going to follow up before closing out the service order, then do it. More
