Scheduling our appointment was easy and the Service Department was very accomodating. Mike Wahlen takes care of all our Lexus needs. We have a RX350 and a ES350 -- both great vehicles. But we have dealt with 3 different Lexus store over 8 years and, because of Mike's service passion, McDermo RX350 and a ES350 -- both great vehicles. You have a most attractive and inviting dealership. Your personnel are friendly and very pleasant. Mike Wahlen was a delightful, knowledgeable, and most accommodating salesperson. However, his penmanship personnel are friendly and very pleasant. Mike Wahlen was a delightful, knowledgeable, and most accommodating salesperson. However, his penmanship caused confusion relative to a digit in the price on the sales agreement, along with several specifics on the Enform sign-up form. This required additional payment by me on the day of pick-up, and several phone calls to Telmatics Customer Care to get the email and password corrected on the Lexus Enform Subscription Service Agreement. I felt the car pricing was fair, not quite as great as I had hoped, however! I was bothered by the discussion with Joe Serra on the day I picked up the car. I felt I had inadequate time to really think about the need for additional and expensive coverage for service beyond the manufacturer's warranty period, or other coverage as was offered. I believe that this type of information should be summarized for the customer to take home and think about if the Business Manager happens to be out that particular day. I am pleased that my Milford friends suggested coming to McDermott and I am enjoying the ES 350 as I adjust from ten years of driving a great Deville. This too, is quite a delightful driving experience, and I have picked up about eight feet of space in my garage! More
The entire experience at McDermott Lexus of New Haven was absolutely First Class. My wife and I were treated like royalty by Doreen and Joe the Finance Manager. We've been using McDermott Lexus service since we bought our RX-400h in 2007. We've always had execellent service from everyone. Tanya, our primary service coordinator is like a part of the family bought our RX-400h in 2007. We've always had execellent service from everyone. Tanya, our primary service coordinator is like a part of the family now and Rena, her colleague is always helpful and accomodating. We really feel they look after our car and us. We've never had better service anywhere at any time. It's a great way to build loyalty in a business that often revolves around getting the best-priced deal above all else.
