Well the experience I had with my salesperson, Charles Hoskins was very comfortable to do business, along being knowledgeable and kind. Matter of fact all the employees was very pleasant and kind....from t Hoskins was very comfortable to do business, along being knowledgeable and kind. Matter of fact all the employees was very pleasant and kind....from the Finance Mgr Johnny(sp)to Charles reporting manager Jimmy. Walking into the dealership i did not feel that pressure nor had that feeling of "being out there". The financing process was quick and easy...with breakdown of all my questions. I really didn't spend alot of time in this process...thank goodness. The followup was an other added feature to my rating. So I would recommend Plano Lincoln Mercury to my friends, aquaintances. Oh by the way ...I love my car! More
I found a car on the internet that I was interested in. I talked and emailed Dean about the car at least 15 times over about 7 days. I had him verify whether the vehicle had a sunroof, navigation, power and talked and emailed Dean about the car at least 15 times over about 7 days. I had him verify whether the vehicle had a sunroof, navigation, power and heated seats. He said he would have to go out and look at the vehicle. He called me back and said yes. After looking at it on the wehsite more, I called and asked him again if it had navigation and he said yes. Then right before we drove for 1-1/2 hours to get there, I called to verify he still had the car and he said yes. When we arrive, Dean says they sold the car 2 weeks ago, but had another one on the lot that didin't have the sunroof or navigation. But, the car on the lot WAS the one on their website because I had the print off and the stock numbers matched. He said they did have another vehicle with those features but it was $7000 more expensive. This was clearly a bait and switch. I thought those days were over. This is exactly why I HATE to buy cars from dealerships. More
The people at the dealership did not play "games" with me. They provided me with the information I needed and kept in contact with me. This is the second car I have purchased at this dealer "games" with me. They provided me with the information I needed and kept in contact with me. This is the second car I have purchased at this dealership and I have been extremely pleased both times. The people treat females like they have brains unlike some other dealerships. I will probably just go to this one dealership when I buy my next car instead of wasting my time at some others. More
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! If you care at all about your vehicle, DO NOT take it here. Here are the highlights of my experience with David McDavid: 1) Told me my car (taking off the door and putting a vehicle, DO NOT take it here. Here are the highlights of my experience with David McDavid: 1) Told me my car (taking off the door and putting a new one one) would take 4 days, it took 15. Over $600 in rental car fees, which they do not reimburse for their mistake. Extra cost= $400 2) "Lost" my two week old service inspection for my car. No explanation. Have to get it re-inspected = $41 3) The door they replaced was taken off an old car and the paint was chipped and peeled, cost to TOTALLY REDO THE "WORK" David McDavid did = $1200 + 2 MORE WEEKS OF MY TIME 4) Killed the battery in my car. They drove it out to me in front of the office, I drove it home and turned it off. Went out to my car the next morning, the relatively new battery was DEAD, cost of calling someone to jump me = $57 + 2 hours of my time. Cost of new battery = $121 + 1 hour of my time. As if this were not enough, they tried to return my car to me with the paneling missing along the sides. There were HUGE white streaks on my car where the paneling should have been. I asked the guy, "Is this how you usually return cars?" He shrugged. I think that says it all. This dealership is pathetic. I will never be back, and I plan to tell everyone I know about the horrible service I received. With the extra costs and time, I am in disbelief that this dealership stays open. I had Rod as my "service manager"... ha. He was good for calling me and telling me my car would "for sure be done tomorrow" THREE TIMES... not sure if he was lying or just wanted to get rid of me. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking on my rental car rates. I asked to be contacted by the manager, shockingly, that never happened. Worst, most disappointing experience of my life. More

My 2007 Jaguar XK was in a wreck and they were very vague with telling me what's wrong, 3 times I had to ask about bent frame, and the danger of me driving my grand daughtr in this car They are a certified d with telling me what's wrong, 3 times I had to ask about bent frame, and the danger of me driving my grand daughtr in this car They are a certified dealer for State Farm Ins. and tried to fix a car that they knew was a total loss. They gave me a bid of a little more than 27k and told me NO ONE else in TX worked on Aluminum body cars. They refused to release it to Park Place Jaguar and John Eagle Dealership. John Eagle looked at 4 an hour and found 10k more damage. John in the body shop REFUSED to release my car twice and I had to threaten them with the police. The bottom line here is they tried to salvage it and supplement the damages AFTER they started. They put me and my family in danger of trying to do what saved the insuranc co. a few dollars in storage because they don't charge for storage being a preferred...anyhow, David McDavid DID NOT care of the safety of my family and myself in this car. They are trying to make as much money and work directly with Insurance Co., with no regard for your or my safety. John Eagle Dealership told me within the first 2 hours of looking at the car the severity ...they are awesome. At the expense of losing the work, my car was totaled the following day. I can verify any and all of this. These people are thieves. More

I took my Mercury Mountaineer, which I purchased new at the dealership in for service. The service tech apparently did not agree with my political beliefs and used a tape gun to duct tape over a bumper st the dealership in for service. The service tech apparently did not agree with my political beliefs and used a tape gun to duct tape over a bumper sticker on the rear windshield. The jagged edge of the tape gun scratched the paint on the tailgate and the dealership refused to offer anything--not even an apology. Furthermore, the service tech (probably the same one) rubbed grease all over the interior upholstery and dash. And they wonder why I haven't been back. More
