I've dealt with David McDavid Honda of Frisco in the past and had a positive experience so when my wife's car was wrecked by someone running a red light (thankfully nobody was hurt), I never hesitated in goi and had a positive experience so when my wife's car was wrecked by someone running a red light (thankfully nobody was hurt), I never hesitated in going back to them for our new purchase. I did inquire with several other dealerships in terms of pricing but McDavid beat them all. The sales staff worked hard to find the car we wanted and we are extremely happy with our 2012 CRV EX; which is an incredible upgrade from the 2009 model. I also have been using their service center for my '03 Pilot and at over 100,000 miles it runs as smooth now as it ever did. More

I came in to have a key cut for my car and also have it programmed. Mr. Reyes was very helpful and courteous. Upon the completion of my request Mr. Reyes also told me that the CV joinst sounded bad in my c programmed. Mr. Reyes was very helpful and courteous. Mr. Reyes checked the milage on my car and saw that my car was still under manufacture warranty and told me I could have this done and there would be NO CHARGE to me. This sounded a little to good to be true but I booked an appointment, had the work done and walked out not paying anything for the warranty work.....AWESOME! Mr. Reyes was very upfront an honest with me and I really appreciated that! I WILL BE BACK and Mr. Reyes will be my service writer for LIFE!! Thank you, Tom J. Burrough More
This dealership has the best customer service that I have ever experienced. The techs answered al of my questions and encourage me to ask more. I was also walked to my car and the door was opened. Based upon my experiences, I will not revisit David McDavid Honda in Frisco. Nor will I recommend them to anyone that I know. In 2008 I visited David McDavid Honda in Frisco and walked away because the sales person that I dealing with was pressuring me to buy a car. This was regardless of the fact that they did not have the car that I wanted on the lot and I had made it clear that I had just stared looking and was not ready to purchase. I went back to David McDavid in February because I was looking for a new car once again. I started out looking at a used 2012 Civic Hybrid that they had listed on their website. When I arrived to the lot, the price on the car was almost $1,000 more than what was stated on their website. Regardless of that I talked with Eddie and made it clear to him that I was only looking and still doing research to make sure that this was the car that I wanted. He was fine with that and introduced me to Josh, their accessories guru, to answer some questions that I regarding some accessories. I walked away that day thinking that their sales tactics had changed and this was a place that I could do business. BOY WAS I WRONG! I went back a few days later to discuss the purchase of a new 2012 Civic Hybrid and made sure that I was dealing with Eddie since our last meeting went so well. At one point Eddie went to the back and returned with a sheet of paper that had a breakdown for the price of the car with their standard package. One thing that I thought was strange was that a payment schedule was also listed on this same sheet that was based on different amounts of down payment and lengths of the loan. I could not understand why they would do this without even taking the time to run my credit. I once again had a chance to talk with Josh to discuss the additional accessories that I was wanting. It was at this point that Josh started to pressure me to purchase the car. It took about three times for me telling him that I was not going to purchase that day and that it was still going to be a few more days before I was going to make a final decision. When Josh finally realized that I was serious and was not going to buy, he ended the conversation and walked away being less than genuinely friendly. The following evening I received a call from their Internet Sales Manager, Lexx Woodward, regarding my recent visit. He starts out with asking me "What can I do to get you into this car tonight?" and follows up with "I really need to sell you this car tonight." It took me telling him five times that I was not going to make a purchase that evening and eventually had to be overly blunt by informing him that he was not listening to me. Once he realized that I was not going to buy, he ended the phone call being less than friendly. More

We purchased our 2009 Odyssey from Jim and it was a great experience. So when we needed another vehicle we immediately made an appointment with him. He was very friendly yet very professional. Great experience from beginning to end. Sam was "johnny on the spot" with a warm greeting and friendly help. Within a few minutes he pointed out features and prices of the (3) cars I was looking at and took me for a test drive on the one I choose. From there, it was a deal in the making. We purchased certified used and got an "exceptional" and I mean "exceptional" warrant at an outstanding price. Oh, the price of the car and the amount given on our trade in was great too (smile).
