Complete waste of my time I started my used car search a few weeks ago. I was 0 for 2 with salesmen descriptions of used vehicles not living up to the hype. So...when I calle I started my used car search a few weeks ago. I was 0 for 2 with salesmen descriptions of used vehicles not living up to the hype. So...when I called on a car at McDavid Honda I let the salesman know I was skeptical of salesmen used vehicle assessments. He acknowledged my concern, felt the same way and proceeded to tell me about an issue with the car. He later called and said he was wrong and it was a very clean car. So...I committed the 4 hours of my time (and gas) to drive up to see it. It didn't take me much but a few minutes to blow holes in his assessment. It was dirty so I asked him to run it thru the car wash before I let him have it. The car wash didn't help...lots of paint chips that were poorly attempted to cover (probably by the previous owner), large stain on a door larger than the size of a grape fruit, a front quarter panel that had been painted but still had a clean Carfax. I didn't even bother wasting my time to drive it. And the sales manager had the nerve to ask me if there was anything he could do to make me be interested...I laughed and walked away. As a matter of fact, this was the worst of the three experiences. And to top it off...I got a call the next day to thank me for my visit and to see if there was anything they could do to get me interested in the car. Did they not get the message when I let them have it about what was wrong with the vehicle and then I walked away without even driving it!!! More

I thought I would not be able to get a car for a very long time. What I found was a very compassionate and understanding staff, and to be quite honest, I have a new outlook on the car buying experience. Aaron in financing did his job quickly and honestly, and I applaud him for making me feel comfortable to be in his office and not nervous or beat down by the time I left. Erika began the process though, and I want to impress upon any reader, she was the main reason I came into the dealership. She drove to Dallas and picked me up because I did not have a car, and she drove me to the dealership. She was in constant contact, but she did it the way I wanted. I chose email because I cannot communicate via phone as often because of my job. She handled everything via email, and when we finally spoke, I could hear the smile in her voice. She made sure I was given red carpet treatment all the way, and I am most thankful for her service. She had the car ready, prepped and detailed, ready for me to drive it off the lot. I did! And I wanted to give these two folks a shout out for making my customer service experience one of the best ever. I drove off in a 2012 Toyota Prius C, and I have not been happier with an all around experience. Thank you Erika and Aaron! More

EXCELLENT!!! FINANCE TEAM IS AWESOME AND FAST! So I purchased a 2014 Lexus from this dealership. The staff was so Amazing. Ondre and Shakeel held my hand and provided excellent customer service dur So I purchased a 2014 Lexus from this dealership. The staff was so Amazing. Ondre and Shakeel held my hand and provided excellent customer service during the entire process. My car had hail damage and was sent to the Lincoln collision center to have the hail damage removed. While my car was being repaired Ondre made sure Shakeel provided me with the best loner car that they had on the lot at the time. My car was starting to take longer than expected so Ondre called the collision center daily to get an update on my vehicle so that he could update me. Ondre is the finance director that went above and beyond to keep me informed about my car. I definitely had a white glove experience from this dealership. If you are looking for a fast, positive, white glove experience then I recommend you go see Ondre and Shakeel. These two guys worked hard and together to make sure I was happy. Ondre and Shakeel need to give them lessons on how to provide Amazing customer service. That's how awesome this dealership is. And it's not because of the GM. It's because of Ondre and Shakeel!! When u get there ask for them and you won't be disappointed!!! More
Damaged New Vehicle I purchased a Honda Accord from this dealership & my salesperson was Stephen Szilva. The purchase transaction occurred at night right after I was done with work. I stopped by on a Thursday, signed all the paperwork & was good for a pickup on Saturday Fast forward to Saturday, the salesperson picked me up from my residence & off we go to the dealership to pick up the vehicle. Prior to accepting the keys, me & the salesperson walked around the vehicle to inspect the vehicle condition. At that point i pointed out the imperfection on the vehicle (passenger door scratched, dent on passenger side quarter panel, a few scratches here & there that can be buffed). I had advised the sales person Stephen Szilva that i'll take delivery of the vehicle on a different date as the vehicle was not delivered to my satisfaction (This is a new vehicle that we are talking about here) I was advised to take the vehicle back home & come back on a later date to have the repairs done Fast forward 2 weeks from purchase date, I make it to the the dealership again, placed sticky notes to the damage areas & left for work feeling great that the dealership is doing their part. I return 2 days later to pick my vehicle up only to learn that they fixed the dent. This was the only work completed on the vehicle but the service rep advise that all the work was completed. I demonstrated with a microfiber cloth, removing scratches that were pointed out before......no one has touched the vehicle besides the dent repair I then thought I talked to someone with authority to take care of this matter, JP Kinman, some big shot in the organization. He assured me that the dealership will not drop the ball again & will make arrangement for Mcdavid Lincoln in Plano to have work done on the passenger door & call me personally. Next day comes along, there is no news from JP Kinman, 3 voice mail was left & yet again no reply. Since I did not get a response, I visited the dealership again & saw Sonia Heredia the General Manager to have a chat with her on this matter & the next day she got the ball rolling and her service adviser called me to advise a rental vehicle was awaiting for me at the David Mcdavid Lincoln location David McDavid Lincoln had to remove the entire passenger door panel, door trim to repaint the door for the permanent scratch to be fixed. I was unhappy that a new car door was pulled apart, but did not have a choice in this matter. It took 2 weeks to get the work completed I am not at all looking forward a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership if their new vehicle comes with damage. Subsequently, 1 month after this, I got my wife the same vehicle, but an automatic version from Honda of Denton, no damage at all, never had to return back to the dealership, they treated me very well, I regret not going to them in the first place. The salesperson (Honda of Denton ) called me a week to check if I had any problems on the vehicle. Stephen Szilva made a quick sale & have never called me back since the sale, this dealership may outsell others in quantity but there is lacks quality More
Terrible Service experience over and over new car purchase 3/12/2016 From awesome salesman-great experience when trying to get the purchase. Took vehicle back to get plates installed a few weeks later and that is when the service experience went down. I waited over 30minutes to be assisted as I waited in the bay outside my cars and saw car after being helped. FInally, I complained and was assisted and basically told it was my fault for being ignored as I should have said something, 1 week later, I noticed bubbles on my tint so I took it back to get it retinted and was assured it would take appx. 5 hours. No calls that day, I finally called and was told it would be done soon, I arrived at dealer at 330pm and after 5pm still no vehicle. I spoke to Julian in service and was advised it was finishing up. I go the car back rushed, car was wet and was told by Julian that it was all good as he checked it. I got home and all trim by doors was cut and scratched, tint had large bubbles and dirt and trunk refinish and back light was scratched. I called and was told to go back that Monday. I dropped off after going over all damage with Julian and manager and was assured all would be repaired, 2 wks later I go 1 call and I have called several times for updates since no one is calling and finally was told that all was good but scratches were not able to be removed and they wanted me to go and see if I was ok with scratches on car if wanted them to repaint. 2wks later, that is about the time I have had my car with less then 800mi, I called general manager Sonia and waiting a callback. I will not accept a damaged repainted car or car that is not the way I left it. Please make sure you check your cars prior to leaving their bay so that you do not go through what I am currently going through. I will update once general manager calls me. More

I really liked how personal and knowledgeable he was about the cars that Honda offered. He was really passionate about his job and was very easy to work with. My Overall experience was just AMAZING!!!!!!!! And this is NOT my first time buying a car~ Every Dealership needs more great associates like this. I highly suggest to anyone going to Honda (Frisco Location) to purchase a used car to ask for Samuel Anthony Salas. More

Keith Burr responded by sending me a you tube video introducing himself, followed up with a time to meet the following day. ( Awesome presentation ) Saturday rolled around and Keith introduced us to Patrick in new car sales. From that point on the buying experience continued to be an amazing experience. We have been Toyota people for 26 years and decided to look at different options. Do to the David McDavid experience we're SOLD. FINE WORK PEOPLE. More
Misleading Buying Experience I was in the market for a new Odyssey and stopped by early in the week to have my trade-in appraised and to discuss pricing for the new car. I asked m I was in the market for a new Odyssey and stopped by early in the week to have my trade-in appraised and to discuss pricing for the new car. I asked my salesman (Patrick) to appraise my car for trade-in value and he took my keys and went outside for a while. I was given the impression that they were inspecting it while we chatted about what I was looking for in a car. I told him I was price shopping and he told me to get the best quote I could and then come in and they would beat it (this guarantee was given multiple times). I visited several dealers that day and then called Patrick and explained in detail my best quote to Patrick and asked him for their best offer. He put me on hold so he could "talk to his manager" and then got back on the line and again told me they would beat the offer if I came in to the dealership (this was stated multiple times during the call). He also requested me to email my offer from the other dealership to the salesman who would handle the deal (Todd Wilmes). I sent the offer over and then came in for my sit down negotiation a couple of days later (after calling ahead). When I got there, it took them 1/2 hour to locate a car that matched the color I wanted (and the car was on the showroom floor!) and then they said they hadn't appraised my old car yet (I'm still at a loss as to what Patrick did with my car when I came in earlier), so I waited another 45 minutes. Finally, Todd and Mike Baker came out to inform me that they couldn't beat the offer. They disingenuously blamed their inability to provide a better offer on the appraisal (despite none of the other dealerships having any issue with the appraisal) which they valued at 2,000 below what it had appraised at at multiple other dealers (which was in line with the average KBB trade-in value). All told, I wasted about 4 hours here (factoring in both trips and my travel time). I was misled and my time was not respected. I provided all the information they needed ahead of time for them to determine whether they could give me a reasonable offer. They promised they could beat my best offer in order to get me in the door (either knowing they couldn't when the promise was made or not taking the time to determine whether they could beat it despite having my best offer in front of them before I came in) and wasted my time. If you are aggressively price shopping, I would cross them off your list (or at least make them give you a better offer via email before you waste your time with a visit). I will admit that Patrick was friendly and helpful up to the point that he induced me to come back in the dealership by promising to beat my best offer. More
