It was in the back parking lot, in the farthest spot available. Check it out, Drive it. Want to make a deal, but not at asking price due to issues with it. Head home to prep my trade in so I can return with my wife. Get home and get a call from the dealership, That jeep is not for sale. Hmmmm. Call my salesman and tell him to find out why. Didn't call me back. Had to call the Used Car sales manager and he stated that it was already sold and was actually waiting for dealership inspection (While sitting in a spot the farthest from the dealership). If you like to be taken for a ride, this dealership is the place. If you want to try to negotiate, good luck!! They might sell the car from out under you. More
Pleased I bought a vehicle son my son a week ago. I bought it home and I did not like the vehicle. I bought it AS IS and It did not perform as I expected, plus there was some signs of hail damage i didn't notice. I don't they were aware of ethier. While I read blogs that a dealer would not unwind a deal 90% of the time, I didnt even attempt to contact the dealer. I had a whole week of sleepless nights and praying the financing would fall through. It didnt. After the deal went through, I was so upset, I called and spoke with the sales manager John Brown, he told me to bring the car back and work something out, they were all about customer service. I was able to get into another vehicle that was CERTIFIED and I am so pleased. I was there for less than 2 hours and drove off the lot with a different perception. I wish I would not have read all these negative reviews and contacted them sooner. Thank you to my salesman Bok, John and all especially Onra the finance director and all those involved in the sales process. I was referred there by a co worker and now I know why, they really are about good customer service. More
Greedy Will never buy from David McDavid Honda of Frisco ever again! I purchased a 2010 mini cooper in January. The following day I had to take the Mini back for the check engine light. They fixed the issue 2wks later I got it back. 2 weeks later the Mini wouldn't start in my garage. They had it towed to dealership to check what was the issue. Issue was the key lost its programming. About 10 days later u got the Mini back. I drive it for 2 days then I leave for an 11 day vacation come back and the check engine and oil light came on. Took the car back to get checked out. They came back and said there was 800+ on repairs and the warranty they sold me won't cover it! xxx! I have barely driven the Mini 1300 miles the service department has had the Mini the same amount of time as I have had it in 3 months! Now they won't help with a new car because I'm upside-down in the loan! They won't even help with zero down payment and I'll eat the negative on the new loan but they won't! I will never ever buy from this David McDavid Honda of Frisco again! More
Horrid Customer Service First, the only reason I am giving this location one star is because I can't give it zero stars. Second, IF you choose to buy here, talk with Becky from pre-owned sales. If you buy Pre-Owned here, you are a second-class citizen. This is proven by the way they treat you and the way that they treat their whole pre-owned business. The building for their Pre-Owned business is disgusting, cheaply built, and cheaply furnished. The finance officer (Jon/John P) we were working with was extremely rude, implied (multiple times) that we were not good parents (and that I was not a good provider) because we did not buy the warranty. We scheduled a windshield repair appointment with their service department, and when my wife showed up for the appointment, we were told we didn't have one (extremely frustrating). I had to call the service department manager in order to get this whole thing fixed. After the car was fixed, they forgot to notify us that the car was finished and ready to be picked up. I had to call them to find out what the status of the car was. Then, the moment my wife left the lot, the check engine light came on. When we took it back to see what the issue was, they informed us that we need a new Catalytic Converter (about $1500 repair). What!? We have owned this car for less than two weeks! Horrible customer service, horrid communication, worst car buying experience ever. Do not buy here. More

Told that Transmission Service would be $89.95..Charged $114 Brought my 2012 Insight in for an oil change, and was told that I also needed a transmission service because the fluid was dark. I agreed to the service. When I checked out, the cost was $113.95. I did not discover the difference until I got home. I called the advisor and the difference was explained that my Insight required CVT fluid, which cost more. That is not the time to tell me that the price I was quoted was incorrect. I'm sure it is a coincidence that the $25 cost of the CVT fluid, is the same as the $25 coupon I had for the oil change. More
It's not always easy I just completed the most difficult and complicated car purchase of my life. I want to acknowledge all of the people who obviously went over and beyond to help this elderly woman through it. Not to give away too many details, but this deal included several odd things. Salesmen Tyson and Anos were patient and provided support of "my" decision; not trying to sway me one way or another. Sales Manager Johnne was compassionate and thoughtful and gave me hope that things could be worked out. The finance team Tammy Chan and Ondra Calvert were professional and also went out of their way to help me understand the complexity of a vehicle contract. THE reason i come back over and over to David McDavid Honda is because of the outstanding service department - Buddy Mays, Matt Kail, Mike Myers and James Thomas. I owe them a debt of gratitude for all they have done over the years and kept my vehicle in prefect condition. I trust Mike Myers and the David McDavid Service Department. Thank you to the General Manager Sonia Heredia, I know that the culture of excellence comes from the top down. More
